Today's Fire Emblem vs. Final Fantasy character fight of the week is...

Guy the |Hobo| Swordsman vs. Clothes-nabbing Locke!

Guy's Stats:Once needed Matthew the spy thief to fetch food for him and throws up on ships. Is powerful with the Killing Edge or a lightweight sword. Can have Ninian and Nils use quintessence in hard fights/Priscilla and Serra to heal him but can also summon Dark Lords(from FE4) like Boldo, Nova, Loputousu and Forseti and they can increase stats when their weapons are wielded by him(Final Fantasy permits summoning espers/'monsters' from God-knows-where so why not Fire Emblem?).

Locke's stats:Lover almost died, also throws up on ships(sometimes even more, but I'm not sure about Guy's ability...) and is powerful w/Atma Weapon. Can Summon espers like Ifrit and Ramuh.

Character-similarity wise, I'd rather Locke be against Matthew. I mean, they're both "thiefs" (err, Treasure Hunter, Locke! XD), they both support a kingish/lordish guy, both of them have.. let's say, similar love stories, kinda (you'll know what part [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), they both can steal in game and are both very fast...

Locke would trick Guy like Matthew did, and he'd win no contest.

Matthew vs Locke would be way more interesting. Without magic... :/ I'd say the fight would be pretty darn even. With magic though, Locke would win. XD But then again, FE characters weren't made to be ultimate-d.
