| Guest | Source: NoE Game Boy Advance is the evolution of the world's most popular portable games system. And what better platform to play host to the evolution of the world's biggest game series? Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire storm onto Game Boy Advance later this year, brimming with all the graphic and sonic improvements that GBA can bring. Plus, the gameplay has evolved too. We've already told you about the tag-team battle system, the boy and girl Pokémon Trainers, and the menagerie of new characters to catch. But did you know about Pokémon Contests? These events are one of the coolest new additions to Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. Pokémon Contests are your chance to get your Pokémon rated by a panel of judges; based on each character's beauty, cuteness etc. You can increase your Pokémon's performance by feeding them special Pokéblocks, made from berries found throughout the game world. Pokémon are also fussy eaters, too. You'll discover that each character has a favourite flavour of Pokéblock, depending on their personality. And with many different types of Pokémon to discover, you're going to have your work cut out pleasing them all. Of course, there's a whole new world waiting to be explored too, full of dozens of new Pokémon plus all your classic favourites. |
