Based on the popular 80’s TV series Knight Rider, the game will of course feature the character Michael Knight, but more importantly, the world’s most technologically-advanced car: Knight Industries Two Thousand – better known as KITT. In the game, the player will be able to get behind the wheel of this sleek futuristic Pontiac Trans Am and put advanced features such as Turbo Boost, Ski Mode, Night Vision, Microwave Jammers, Super Pursuit or Surveillance mode to use in fighting for the innocent, the helpless and the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law. In 10 action packed missions, the player will encounter well-known’s such as Devon, Bonnie, Garth, KARR and Goliath, all set in small, mid-western towns, and familiar elements of the original TV series.

Rudolf Wolterbeek, Games Producer at Davilex comments, "We're thrilled with the acquisition of the Knight Rider license, it offers a unique context for never-seen-before gameplay. Anyone who's seen the show wants to drive KITT. And that's exactly what this game is all about: the player will be able to drive KITT and use all the cool high-tech features like turbo boost, ski mode, super pursuit mode, night vision, etc. It is quite amazing what this car will be able to do in the game.”

Bruno Maglione, USCPG’s European Managing Director, echoes this enthusiasm, “It gives us a great deal of pleasure to work together with game-genre leaders, Davilex, on this unique project. Anticipation is building especially amongst the target demographic for this game, which revives the iconic 80’s classic, Knight Rider.”
These are just the test screens, in-game screens should be shown at E3.

This is almost as bad as the anouncement when they were going to remake Chip's. I think that game got canned. I'm glad for that move, maybe this game will follow suit.

I'm not to sure... If they make this game something like SpyHunter, it could be very good.
