Link is on an all-new adventure. After witnessing his sister being kidnapped by a gigantic bird, the Hyrulian Hero travels to a new country and unravels a mystery that surrounds the new world.

The stylized graphics we’re already so familiar with, feature insanely detailed animations and vibrant colours. For those of you worried that the background décor would be bland and use plain textures, we at PGC can assure you that is far from the truth. Walls have cracks, crevices, and the lighting and mood were simple extraordinary. Link’s eyelashes are thinner, and you can clearly see his blue irises. One of the prettier scenes featured Link looking up at the ceiling in the dungeon “Dragon Mountain” and the shimmering effects from the heat were impressive.

Although based on the OoT Z-targetting systems, gameplay-wise The Legend of Zelda won’t be merely using the same system from the N64 incarnations. Link now can pick up an enemy’s weapon and this seems to be a big part of the gameplay. Enemies defeated would disappear in a puff of smoke. Mr. Miyamoto took a moblin’s wooden staff and then used it to light a torch. After a moment a Treasure Chest materialized as its invisibility spell dissipated. Mr. Miyamoto also mentioned that to open up a blocked down door, you have to grab one of the monsters’ huge blades to break it down, but he unfortunately couldn’t locate the monster’s blade. Link also had an all-new grappling hook attached to a rope. The player will have to make sure to aim the end properly as it arcs in the air. We only saw a short five second clip, but seeing Link skim across the water in his own controllable boat was rather exciting. Additionally, Mr. Miyamoto told the audience that Link can actually hide in a barrel to sneak through certain areas. Link's Spin Attack has been upgraded and goes over a much longer area for longer. It appears you can control the direction as well.

While Miyamoto had hinted at a GBA connection, our sharp-eyed staffers spotted a small icon in red letters saying “GBA CONNECT” during the Zelda Demo menu. At this moment we don’t know whether the game will connect to the recently unveiled Zelda: Four Swords or just be using the GBA hardware.

Good, they fixed his eyes. That was my only beef on Celda.

i'm starting to like the new zelda. The eyes look better

zelda looks good the cel shading looks good i dont know why people had a problem with it.

How can anyone say they have no problem with it? It looks, weird. I own Oot and it looked great. What happened???

You obviously haven't seen the videos. And even if you have, play the game before you judge. Looks awesome.

And no that's not Arill, she looks kind of like Link.

Hey, it's better than the old Celda. Those eyes give me nightmares.

1st graphic dont make or break a game a link to the past doesnt have great graphics by todays standards but it is still in my openion the best game of all time story and gameplay make a game if all u care about is graphics than go watch a movie
2nd it looks just as good as oot graphic wise just a differnt type of graphics

What do you mean weird? Anything's weird till you get used to it. You see how smooth the graphics are? And the backdrop and the cel shading. The graphics are stupendous.

In OoT the graphics are kinda blocky and not so great some times even if it was one of the best games of all times.

Besides graphics really shouldn't matter. I play LoZ and I love it. Now don't tell me the graphics on LoZ are great cause they aren't, they suck but I still play the game n e wayz b/c of the great gameplay and how fun it is.

Where on earth did Link find his sister? Why wasn't tehre any mention of it in otehr games? How does he know it's her, assuming he's never seen her before? Does the Uncle...wait, no. He dies...
The plot of teh Zeldas is ratehr twisted as it is...now his sister pops in. What's next? His parents?

However, I am so ready for a big surprise ending saying that he only thoughht it was his sis and she's just some girl or something. Maybe it's all a dream, like in Link's Awakening. Nintendo does have a way with surprise endings, and I'm ready for one in this game. There might not be though...who knows. I'll just buy the game and find out.
