I'm thinking of getting one of these games when they come out in Oz (about the same time), but only one. Which one is better and why? I mean in Replay Value, Graphics, Sound, Engine, Gameplay etc. Thanks.

Eternal Darkness. I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

And remember, "This can't be happening..."

Resident Evil Remakemight have scared the hell out of me, which Eternal Darkness didn't, but I loved it when I went insane playing Eternal Darkness, that's simply unmatched!!!

I like both games a lot though, .

Too tough of a question for me, the games are just different enough to be two seperate experiences.

They're both awesome games. However, I prefer Resident Evil.

I like both the games, but I'm going with ED, it is easier to pick up and play as the rotational control in RE is enough to make a first timer cry. How can you enjoy a game if you can't control the character easily? I would have gotten more into RE if not for the controls.

Eternal Darkness has a much better story, but the replay value and challenge of Resident Evil exceed it by far. It's a tough call, but I say Resident Evil.
