Incredible, even. Damn. And it comes out in about a week. |

I'll certainly get it but not until Christmas. And I'll avoid all topics about it until then. Games like these are just supposed to be left to you to discover all of it. |

| Senior Member | It doesn't just LOOK awesome: it plays awesome. I played it in GameStop. Damn, that was kickass. It's on my list of games to get. Hopefully I WILL get it, unlike all of those other games I thought of getting, but never went through with it... |

It seems they fixed a lot of things that were wrong with Sunshine: varied worlds (I've seen Ice, Desert, Water and Lava worlds for example) full 3-D swimming and flight (I imagine that's possible as a bee), no Fludd, cool power-ups (I heard the fire flower is back as well). For the longest time I thought I'd never get a Wii, but with this one, Metroid Prime 3 and Smash Bros. coming out I must say I'm tempted. I don't have any money or time for it now, though, so it'll probably still be a while, but at least now there is a possibility that I'm getting one. |

It's been so long since there was anything to get excited about in that genre, maybe the Jak games. Certainly nothing from Nintendo since Sunshine, and I guess that's OK because they sort of devolved into collect-a-thons during N64s later days. Regardless: jacked up for this game. |

The longer I think about it the more awesome this game is. It's....wow. I want to dance around and point and laugh at all the naysayers. "Hahaha, I told you so" I would say. What it does with gravity, the art style, the fully orchestrated soundtrack with some tracks being remixed from earlier games in the series. It's all so great. This game is fresh and wonderful and absorbing. To anyone in here: when you get it, play it with someone else. A friend, a significant other, a sibling, a parent, it doesn't matter. It enriches the experience even further to be able to share this with someone. Edit: Oh wait I know maybe you guys could let me in on this little AIM/MSN circle I'm not in on anymore and you could say hi to her Swear, go away for a few months and everyone leaves you behind DO THE MARIO |

I buy a Gamecube, they put out Goddamn Mario Goddamn Sunshine Goddamn (that's a Mario Sunshine club sandwich on Goddamn bread, in case you were wondering); I denounce the Wii, they put out the apparent spiritual successor to SM64. Just another of the odd quirks of fate that makes life such a wacky series of misadventures, I guess. __________________ Boo--beware, he lives |

An icon like Marilyn...yet, not like Marilyn. Undaunted, no matter how often he's battered. Mario the magnificent...resurrected...again." Honestly. What in the name of bleeding Jesus were they even thinking? I mean, I know 'interest stories' like this require a little bit of presentation and drama, but were they trying to come off like a bunch of pretentious jackasses? You think about it, this is the kind of thing you'd see on the Daily Show circa 1998, back when it was a clever parody of establishment media and not a soapbox for hateful apolitical snobs. __________________ Boo--beware, he lives Last edited by Booyakasha; 11-14-2007 at 10:05 AM. |

| Senior Member | For some reason, I think that guy sounds like the Colonel from Metal Gear. I dunno why. Maybe it's how they say, "Mario". I plan to rent it to see if I like it before buying it. From what I played of the demo, I should like it. |
