| Join Date: Nov 2001 Location: Toronto, ON, Canada Gender: Posts: 3,350 Thanks: 9 Thanked 45 Times in 35 Posts | Mixed feelings about Wii Zapper I tried out Link's Crossbow training with the Wii Zapper the other day (at a Nintendo Mall tour, which also included me trying out Super Mario Galaxy and the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3) I played the first three levels of the game. The first level was on rails, where you shoot targets. This was, in my opinion, the best type of level for the Zapper. With the second level, I had to shoot Stalfos that were coming all around me. The rotating was a bit awkward, but the level was still okay. The third level, on the other hand, was a third person shooter level and moving around with the Wii Zapper is VERY awkward. In this level, I believe I would have been better off with the normal controller set-up. Bottom-line. If the level is stationary or on-rails, the Wii Zapper is okay. Otherwise, it's very awkward. |
