Monkeys throwing coconuts at you in trees, Tyrant kremling twins, dissappearing and reeapearing ghost barrels, Ripsaws in trees trying to cut you in a tree, Owls shooting fireballs at you, sled rides, sled rides through a dangerous pipeline, A zero-G pipe, a pipe that makes you go backwards, lightning trying to zap you, Kremlings that shoot fireballs at you, krack shot krocs, and rocket barrel rides. There is a lot more hellishness to go through, and they are all much, MUCH more annoying than avoiding snapjaw.

Now that I've got the warnings of deadly traps in DKC 3 out of the way, how are you doing in Krazy Kremland?

Edit: Forgot to tell you, there are water levels with fish tying to get you, but you can kill them and avoid them, but there is this one level late in the game named fish-food frenzy, where an annoying fish will follow you the entire level (Yes, the ENTIRE LEVEL.) and you have to feed it. That's right, feed it. You will need to feed it clownfish to satisfy it, but if you give it to many Urchins or don't feed him at all, then he WILL bite your ass. And he's MUCH more annoying than snapjaw. Although there may not be anything as annoying as snapjaw, this fish IS MUCH MUCH MUCH more annoying than snapjaw, mostly because there's no way to stop him from getting you. If you ever pick up DKC 3, get ready to tear your hair out AND slam your head against the wall, cause there are some tough ass challenges in DKC 3.

At any rate, I am currently still on the boss, and haven't been able to kill him yet because my sister is hogging the TV. I ALMOST ALMOST got him once, but I jumped at JUST the wrong moment, and he practically jumped on top of me. >

Yes there is. Remeber " Kreeping Klasps" and the level where you had to feed Nibbla?

King Zing was pretty easy to me.

Diddy Kong Racing was pretty good, even though it's not really a Donkey Kong game.

The DS version was mangled pretty well, though.

Saying Diddy Kong Racing games aren't DK games is like saying Mario Kart games aren't mario games. Sure, they're not adventure games and don't have plots, but they're still games of the Mario/DK genre.

By the way, DK64 would have been a great game if I had never played Banjo-Kazooie. Like I said recently, Rare tried too hard to make it too much like B-K and not enough like DKC.

I enjoyed 64 the first time around well enough. But every time I try to pick it up again, I just can't finish it. I usually quit around the desert level. To me, that game has 0 replay value. I'd rather play Banjo-Kazooie again.

I'm pretty sure you have to beat the arcade game. At any rate, I've beaten almost all of the bosses... I think I still have Gloomy Galleon to do.

You have to beat the Donkey Kong arcade game to get the Gold Banana, then beat it a second time to get the token required to reach the last key and open the path to the final boss.

You can imagine how amused I was once I found out I'd have to play through the arcade game again.
