What NOT about Mario RPG? Earthbound isn't the only great game on the list.

^Mario RPG is a wonderful, wonderful game. Earthbound is just that much better.

PS: No Earthbound at least this Monday. I bet they're going to do it on Mothers' Day. -CSM

Of course, one could always emulate these games and wind up with higher quality picture, audio, and experience in general.

Which makes me sick, as Nintendo can't seemingly match the work of people just doing it as their hobby, no matter how many shiny facades they create.

That said, both Mario RPG and Earthbound should be on the Virtual Console, sooner or later...

That would take actual work and reduce the insane profit margin on VC games.

Earthbound being rated could mean anything from next week to next month. Regardless, its the first VC title I'm buying.

^They're not doing it next week. They're doing some Tetris Attack remake with Pokemon in it.

My guess is they're holding it off for Mother's Day. -CSM

I rather liked Chrono Trigger and SMRPG over Earthbound but I like the fact that the poll shows that the US definitely wants to see more RPGs in the virtual console than certain other games that don't port well (I.E Mario Kart 64)

The one being released is Pokemon Puzzle League, which is for N64. It seems to have some anime influences.

I do remember some Game Boy Color puzzle games though. Huh.

Also, good observation, WVW. All of the wanted games are RPGs of some kind, excluding Majora's Mask. (Though, many will argue that point)

The american version of that Panepon sequel that was originally being for N64 in Japan, but that instead they got it on GC for some reason.

Your want for Super Mario RPG cannot nearly be as much as that of the Europeans, the ones who never got to play the game in the first place. Thus my list would be:

5. Super Mario RPG

4. Super Mario RPG

3. Super Mario RPG

2. Super Mario RPG

1. International Superstar Soccer Deluxe (anyone who's played it will know why)
