I just downloaded "Defend Your Castle". I have been playing it for 5 hours straight now. It's a bitch. I also downloaded Lostwinds which is actually a pretty innovative platformer.

I'm not gonna buy crystal chronicles right now because I don't want to throw down 15 bucks and end up being dissappointed that I might have to pay another 15 bucks for the extra stuff.

What do you guys think of WiiWare right now?

As of right now the US has Defend Your Castle, Pop, FFCC:My Life as a King, Tv Show King, and VIP Casino blackjack.

I'm interested in LostWinds and maybe Defend Your Castle. I wanna hear more about Crystal Chronicles before I check it out. No interest in Pop.

expect to see some games that you could otherwise have gotten for free.

I would totally pay for cave story or la mulana just to support the creators though.

Actually it's been out since the release of wiiware on the 12th.

^I doubt we would see many games that we could otherwise get for free. What I'm curious about for the wii is if we will ever see any mmorpgs like Maple Story or Ragnarok Online make it through. I know they are making ports of those for the DS. It's more likely a no though because of the 48 MB constraint on wiiware titles.
