Second.

Its fun, but feels like they took every effort to tard it down from MKDD so it isn't so much "skill" winning but random luck. Also, some of the classic courses are terrible choices IMO.

I almost stared crying. I'm pretty sure they made an effort to make the controls and turning sensitivity wrong. On MKS, I only lost 11 races, ever, but I came in 7th in the Wii one. ;_;

Oh, and I have to say, it's a damn good thing they included GCN controller support. Because the steering wheel sucks.

Third'd.

I've only played it a little, but so far I'm unimpressed. Kind of disappointing after all of the wait.

Excite Truck has much better steering - it's actually fun. I'll definitely use my GCN controller for this one, if it works. I have yet to get the game myself, but have played HotD's copy.

Also, what's with the ****ty PS2 looking graphics? Seriously.

nunchuck + wiimote isn't bad. I actually have control and I can still do the air tricks. Steering wheel is what the second player gets for me.

I'll get it after they pull the cowboy commercial. Until then, I'll just wonder why I'm even thinking about buying it everytime the commercial comes on.

I'm still playing Mario Kart: DS and have yet to run out of content. I beat all the missions at 1 star, and lo and behold, a line of insanely hard ones just popped out of thin air.

This can't possibly touch that if it's like what you guys say.

Oh, right. It also doesn't have ROB.

To all you people who are saying it's so bland and stuff, have you played Multiplayer yet? Because that's where Mario Kart is the best, and MKWii is no exception.

I have to agree here, single player sucks, but online keeps me addicted.

Online experience:

Took 5 attempts to get into a match where it didn't drop everyone. Once in a match, the only race was for second place because some douchebag figured out how to either exploit the game or figured out the new version of snaking (again: exploit the game) to finish the race while everyone else was still on lap 2.

Don't miss voice per say, but I miss a clear cut way to communicate with the other drivers (like to call him a cheesing bastard) and I certainly miss an easy way to create and establish a friends list. No, numbers are still not an appropriate way to do it.

I didn't find any of MK64 or MKDD bland on single-player (at least not within a week of buying them).

I noticed that too. The graphics hardly seem like any improvement over MKDD.

I agree that the multiplayer is fun, but the multiplayer for Mario Kart will always be fun. I can't see myself playing single player a lot.-jay

Duh...but what seriously have they been working on while developing this game over the last X years? The crappy controls? The poor graphics? Or the generally dull gameplay?-jay
