Nintendo haven't come out with any big announcements for a while now and we're definitely due for a good show from them. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Nintendo can come up with from tomorrow onwards. Feel free to post about stuff you hear or read as they come along from the conference, and enjoy the show. |

| Senior Member | Well, so far there's been that Wiimote add-on that's supposed to enhance the motion sensoring. Or something. I'm hoping that they announce some good things tomorrow, and don't just brag about the Wii. |

| Senior Member | ^They announced that they were announcing at least one "big" game at E3 this year, so I don't think we have to worry about that. |

| Cooler than you and you ****ing know it. | ^ Brain Age 3 or Wii Fit 2. The sad thing is, they could actually be the big announcement. |

There may be a brief mention of a Wii Zelda that probably won't see a release this decade. No, I'm not too hopeful about Nintendo's showing this year, and I hope I'm undershooting by a lot. Well, we'll see. |

I can't see a Metroid game being announced, I think its too soon after Galaxy for a proper Mario game but I also think another LoZ game is fairly out of the question (How can one improve on Twilight Princess?) Perhaps Mario is getting a new game, but as always, I bet, nay, I hope we're all completely wrong and we'll be very pleasantly surprised. |

| Junior Member | Have you people forget about the rumors of the Metroid Dread game? Im holding my thumbs that its a 2D game. Otherwise we have pikmin and other jsut like Kid icarus and they may always come up whit anything new, i mean they have using the old ones a long time now atleast one or two new things would be good. Ohh and the Starfox fans maybe have some good time to look forward too but what do i know. And a new racing game would maybe inflick inpact on Mariokart. I just want to say that it may be a middle year for nintendo or they are brining in some heavy stuff, i realy don't care i will jump on any good game they realease. |

| Senior Member | Post to be edited as conference goes on. Animal Crossing: City Folk. WiiSpeak option, which is basically voice chat. And now Reggie is bragging. And now, three 3rd party games: some Star Wars game with lightsaber duels, Raving rabids TV, and a Call of Duty game. Yeah. Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades and Spore: Creatures will come to DS, apparently. Also, another Pokemon Ranger game. Yeah. Oh snap! GTA: Chinatown Wars! Kitchen Navi game coming to USA. And this woman is horrible at jokes. Wii Sports: Resort announced, which works with the Wiimotion Plus. One game is basically throwing a disc for a dog. Another is one where you ride a jet boat. Reggie likes it. Another is one where you cut wood. And sword duel. Crowd is quiet, but they laughed at "Reggienator". And it's over. List o' stuff: Shaun White Snowboarding Game Animal Crossing: City Folk WiiSpeak Star Wars: the Clone Wars Rayman Raving Rabids TV Call of Duty: World War Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades Spore Creatures Pokemon Ranger 2 GTA: Chinatown Wars Kitchen Navi Day-to-Day stuff(ie: airtravel, baseball stuff) Wii Sports Resort WiiMusic Uh...I can't help but only like Animal Crossing...Will there be more or something? No Big Franchise announcements at all? I don't count Animal Crossing as a Big Franchise. I admire Nintendo for aiming toward the universal audience, but there doesn't really seem to be anything I want to buy on this list except Animal Crossing and maybe Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades. I guess GTA is a pretty big announcement for some people, but I never really liked GTA in the first place. WiiMusic will only be good if there's a Mario Paint-esque Composer mode, IMO. |

Gender: Posts: 4,025 Thanks: 88 Thanked 70 Times in 34 Posts | So what was there was good, but nothing I was really hoping for was there. I'm glad as hell Wii Music is finally coming out, and the motion plus looks highly promising, but think about this: Look at the franchises represented in the roster for Brawl, and count how many of them had a new game announced at this press conference: 1, and it's a franchise that just had a new game last year. Nintendo, that's what your dedicated fans mean when they say they feel neglected. And no, it's not reassuring to hear "The Mario and Zelda teams are working, but forget all that here's SNOWBOARDING!" Yes, my predictions for the core games were low, but even they were not met. Okay, I'm stopping myself here. I'll just conclude with this: I was excited while watching it, and shortly thereafter thought "That was pretty good." But it wasn't long before I said "Hey, wait a minute..." |

Because if that was the best Nintendo's got, then I'm not thrilled. I was really hoping for a Big Franchise--F-Zero, Kirby, Pikmin, and Star Fox were all left out in the cold. |

| Senior Member | Reggie said something about "the next few days" at the end of his farewell, so hopefully that means there's more to announce. |
