They could make a Mario ride out of that. They'd strap those to you, put a virtual reality helmet on your head, and let a machine make the staps move so you could jump and run and hop on Goombas and Koopa Troopas and hit question blocks and stuff. You would earn points, and get cheap prizes at the end if you got enough! Here's what the powerups would do (virtually). Super Mushroom: Makes things look smaller and easier to jump on. Fire flower: Lets you shoot fireballs. Starman: Makes you invincible and lets you jump REALLY high! One-Up Mushroom: Gves you 5,000 Points. That would be AWESOME! ![]() |

2day's idea seems to be good for a videogame theme park with Mario in it; I'm also wanting ideas for a 'Finalfantasyland'. [ July 24, 2004, 04:16 PM: Message edited by: Kefka is the greatest villain ever ]

They could mix Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star! Final Phantasy! What about Sonic? Sonic is very deserving! |

Chuck Quizmo's Quizes: Answer Chuck's questions about the Mario universe, and win some prize. Maybe a star piece made from glass. Yes,They'll be hard. Harder than,'What color is Luigi's pants?'. Starfox Arwing: Get into a pretend arwing, and blast enemies through the ship in some room that can project virtual enemies. Metroid Coaster: Get in roller coaster cars shaped like Samus's ship,go on a coaster ride around Zebes, showing famous places, such as Brinstar,Tourian, and others. On the way,you can even see some enemies,Kraid,Ridley, and Mother Brain. For kids, they can get their pictures taken with someone dressed in a Samus suit. Lon-Lon Ranch: Go to the lon lon ranch and ride a horse around the park. |

I find it funny very little people have said anything from PS2 or Xbox. The fact that mascots are becoming less relevant also destroys this idea. All of this themeing would be very expensive, so don't count on any good rides. So what's better? Excellent themeing or excellent and groundbreaking rides? All I know is that DisneyWorld doesn't hold a candle to Cedar Point. Up here at PCW (Paramount Canada's Wonderland) we have a Tomb Raider themed ride. (Because of the Paramount movie, not the games.) The ride, which is a Zamperla Flyer, sucks incredibly though. [ July 25, 2004, 06:29 PM: Message edited by: Link2000 ] |

Square-Enix and Sega(Sonic the Hedgehog is just dieing to be in a theme park) have plenty of great ideas to be in a video game theme park which are just as equally as deserving as Nintendo to be in a video game theme park. It's just that there's too many Nintendo fanboys I want it to be both very themed and have plenty of groundbreaking rides, In fact, I want a HyperSonic roller coaster that towers 700 feet with tons of inversions(up to 20) that rampages through a forest themed after the 1st level of Sonic & Knuckles and rough helixes as well as human pinball coaster inside the Sonic the Hedgehog section of the park, which doesn't necessarily needs to be very themed. The Mario section of the park could be very themed and kiddy. The Final Fantasy section could be divided up into subsections with different rides(Doomtrain from FFVI would be a very scary ride and they could just use a transport train to make it so that the drops are much more scarier) and is very themed. Next-gen land could be themed and subsectioned after Esthar from FFVIII, Star Fox, Phantasy star, Megaman, and F-Zero. Oh well, I think I all explained it earlier. And if anyone's interested, somebody did create an idea for a Nintendo theme park. It still lacks Sonic and my ideas though. http://chozoman.tripod.com/worldsofnintendo/ [ August 27, 2004, 05:40 PM: Message edited by: Kefka is the greatest villain ever ]
