It has been stuck in my head for a while now and I definitely want a video game theme park. I want it to have several licenses like Nintendo, Square enix, Sega, Capcom, Konami, Ubi soft(for a submarine ride based on Tom Clancy's novels) and possibly Namco. Universal is most likely to pull it off but Disney could do it if it gets it spark back by getting rid of Eurodisney(500 dollars is wasted into Eurodisney for every second past) and makes a broader usage of the 'Kingdom Hearts' deal with Square Enix and decides to get the license to use the license of the game companies franchises. I mean, they have a Final Fantasy symphony at the Walt Disney Concert hall for crying out load! I found some info on what people want in a video game theme park here

It's really not a bad idea, and I would love it. Of course, there really, really, really isnt a good chance of it happening. I had an idea for a Theme Park like this too, only it was a Mario Theme Park. Some rides were:

Yoshi Tounge Coaster: A Giant Yoshi head with stairs inside and at the top you start at Yoshi's mouth and the whole right is Yoshi's tounge.

Koopa Troopa Bumper Karts

Mario Kart-Theme Karts where you can race

Peach's Parasol Ferris Wheel

Haunted Bowser's Castle: Boos pop out, and at the end you see Bowser

Mario & Luigi Roller Coaster: A Green Coaster and Red Coaster with "L" and "M" on the top. They cross eachother and see Paratroopas and stuff.

Other rides I knew of, I just forgot.

Nope. Sounds great on paper, but really, who wants to wander around in Mushroomland without he can jump like Mario and throw fireballs? The escape factor'd be out the window, yo.

That would totally own. REminds me of my idea for a video game channel. I think there are enough video game based TV shows and movies for its own channel... if not, they could make a few exclusive ones. And some video game news shows.

My idea for a video game theme park provides an excellent base for all game theme park ideas and to build up a video game theme park made by Disney

Quote:
Here's my Idea for a video game theme park
Name:Videogameland

A Section: Atari Gateway- Like Main street in Disneyland, you can buy souvenirs and stuff and even go into short Video game tournaments and rest in the giant game system-castle known as The Dream Machine which looks like a glass cube with an Upside Triangle inside of it with 5 pillars at the top

B Section: Mario world- Includes Peach's castle and you can take pictures with Mario characters and even has shows little kids can enjoy

Bowser's ride of doom- a steamy water(the water's cold but the ride itself's steamy) ride that can go thru 3 marioworlds independently thru pipes(the path is chosen by animatronic Koopa kids but it's really chosen by computers) and not linear like other track rides and the paths are Yoshi's Island(very musical, like the It's a small world ride), Boo's Mansion(alot like Pirates of the Caribbean, has drops and music like it but also even has boos scaring you by popping up suddenly throughout that path) and Bowser's Castle( like Splash mountain, but is very steamy). and each path connects back together again at the end of the ride.

Mario Kart ride: It has a MK: Double Dash twist with throwing plastic items in the ride to slow the other players down. There are 2 tracks that are Mario raceway(in front of Peach's castle, has a lot of flora to it and even a hedge maze) and Rainbow road( Very much a dark track).

C Section: Green Hill zone(has a big golden ring at the entrance, has Sonic the Hedgehog and other Sega rides)

SuperSonic Lightning- a very fast roller coaster ride that goes thru constant inversions like loops and corkscrews.

NiGHTs into dreams- The Flight of dreams: A flying Roller Coaster that has a lot of loops and goes pretty fast

Super Monkey Ball- You get into a one person "ball" with a seat and shoulder straps. There's six "balls" to a car. Basically, it's an indoor roller coaster. The "ball" spins while your seat remains stationary. It's a kiddie coaster

D section: Koopa Lagoon and DK jungle- a Waterpark area of Videogameland, has waterslides and the like

E section: Hyrule- Has alot of shows

Zora rapids: a Log flume Rapids ride in which you kayak thru Lake Hylia, through cold icy lakes and even through waterfalls

Death Mountain- A mine train roller coaster ride that goes through lava, encounters with Volvagia and Dodongos and ending in the Goron's cave

F Section:Next Gen Land-

Metroid: Revival of Motherbrain- A ride in which you shoot down Space Pirates and Metroids with Samus's gun and wear Samus's helmet and getting better weapon and vision functions like the ice beam and X-ray vision when you earn alot of points and beat up boss characters like Ridley, Kraid and even Motherbrain at the end

Tom Clancy; Submarine wars-

A submarine ride that takes place with a US submarine patrolling in the south seas near Guam with alot of Coral, tropical fish, and even mermaids when all of a sudden after a few minutes, a North Korean nuclear sub attacks and your sub fights it off and then wins.

Megaman; Dr. Wily's revenge- A dark ride that has Megaman fighting off enemies and ends up meeting Dr.Wily

DisnE3-A replacement for innoventions, usually gets new gaming stuff after E3 comes along.

Custom Robo; Robot wars- Attraction in which you can custom design your own robot and battle it with other guests' custom made robots in a holodome

G Section: Country of Esthar(FF VIII)- Connects Next Gen land w/ Final Fantasyland, has characters from

Chrono Trigger; Journey into the past and future- A simulation ride like the Star Wars ride at Disneyland which you travel thru various periods in time and try to correct all the plot screwups(like Lucca dieing) that Chrono Cross created by going back and thru time in a certain order that rearranges every time you ride and you earn points by going in the correct order.

Lunatic Pandora- A dome in which people can experience stuff that only astronauts can experience like anti-gravity, also has tons of space stuff for little kids.

H Section: Final Fantasyland- Has alot of shows and even has people who look like people from the Final Fantasy games as well as Disney characters going around the area

Chocobo and Cactuar ride- A lot like the Dumbo ride only that you can get wet on it by going in certain red(jumping and squirting, you can control the squirting), yellow(walks, but also goes into the water) and black(Flying Chocobos that get wet by moogles shooting water at you as the Chocobo flys) going around a Jumbo Cactuar(it's a cactus, but it has a funny face).

World of Espers(FF VI); Behind the sealed gate- A dark ride in which you go into the world of the Espers behind the Sealed gate, on a dragon's back and even face up against Bahamut(a dragon whose been in many FFs), a bunch of monsters and Kefka(a evil clown villain whose trying to get rid of the espers by turning them into magicite) and you end up winning.

Kingdom Hearts: Against the Darkness- A dark right based on Kingdom Hearts

Sephiroth: The One Winged Angel- A inverted or standup(not sure) Rollercoaster ride based on Sephiroth of FF7

I section- Horrorland-Has rides based on games like Castlevania

Castlevania:Vengence of Dracula- A ride like Indiana Jones in which you travel thru Dracula's castle and encounter enemies like Medusa.

House of the Dead- A horror ride which zombies pop up in front of you and you shoot em down

J section: Pokemon Island- People in Pokemon costumes are bountiful on this section of the park and even has excellent kiddy rides

Pokemon Snap; Camera Shoot- Take pictures of Pokemon on this ride, earn points on how well you took the pictures of the pokemon and even pay to have them as photo souvenirs

Team Aqua's Water Pokemon assault: A mild(for little kids) water roller coaster in which you try to avoid Team Aqua's attack of their water pokemon and ends in a big splash

(I'll try to think up of more rides and attractions later, I couldn't exactly come up w/ ideas for shows but oh well).
You can ignore the Section part of the whateverland name since I did that to make it easier to organize

I wanted it to be made by Disney since they definitely need a good theme park. Tokyo Disneyland is across the sea and everybody wants the kickass rides at Disneysea right in the US. Eurodisney's useless since everybody who goes to Europe goes straight to Alton Towers and completely avoids that hated place which is now the 1000 tonne anchor that's sinking Disney's ship. California Adventure is trying to fight off it's own death by Disney having the 2 parks for the price of 1 regular park ticket and Disney's Animal Kingdom is looking for it's potential to become great by introducing new rides and areas.

Section A should be more, perhaps, 8-bit world than Atari.

Sounds good on Paper, but I'd be banned from going there simply because of the House of the Dead Ride if it existed. (My mom hates House of the Dead)

Here's an idea (Dunno where it could fit in):

4 observation towers on four different corners of the park based off of the Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars lighthouses.

I did create an idea for a Metroid shoot 'em up ride if you didn't want to go on it, your mom would probably prevent you on going on the HotDead
ride. I created the idea for a House of the Dead ride because shoot 'em up rides and horror rides would provide an excellent combination and I got the idea for a Tom Clancy submarine ride because Disney definitely needs to bring back the Submarine voyage ride, it was one of the best rides at Disneyland.

The Observation towers could fit in perfectly on top of that giant Dream machine console, which people can go up there to get a great view of the park.

We could have a "Small World" ripoff with lemmings! ::gets pelted with tomatoes::

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

NO RIPOFFS!!!!!

I wanted to create ideas that have a certain twist to existing rides, like the Bowser's ride of doom ride with 3 paths that are equivalents to the 3 main water rides at Disneyland(Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a small world and Splash Mountain) and the Pokemon Snap ride could be a lot like Jungle Cruise, but with cameras and goes on different terrain, like one minute you're sailing down a river in a rainforest and the next you're on a volcano; I do not want the idea to be crappened upon with budgets and cheapness like the Disney empire of today, but with excellent ingenuity and cleverness when it comes to funding and creating. In other words, a theme park parallel to Disney when it comes to imagination. Man do I sound like Walt Disney...

Oh yeah, here's some new rides for the Mushroom Kingdom area

Peach's Superstar Wheel-

It's a Ferris wheel colored a dark blue and pink with an image of a Mario-ish star in the middle as well as an image of Princess peach parallel to the image of the star and is behind Peach's Castle

Mario and Luigi; Roller Coaster Madness-

A kiddy racing roller coaster that goes thru constant turns, zips and drops and is made in such a way that any of the 2 roller coasters, both colored in Mario or Luigi's garb, can win

Here's my idea:

"Nintendo World of Adventures": It should have:

Peach's Castle: Like the Disneyworld castle.
Mushroom Parade: Not only a parade dedicated to Mario, but also to Link , Kirby, and others, with re-arranged music SSBM style.
Luigi's Mansion: Have a scare of you life in this creepy mansion while you sream "Mario, where are you?"
Dedede's ring: Wanna fight Dedede? Here's your chance! Beware of the hammer.
Whack the Pikachu: We know how much you hate that sewer mouse. This is the game for you.
The Legend of Zelda: The N64 Ride: You know how much impact the N64 Zelda made, so why not tour through Hyrule Castle Town, Zelda's Castle, Kokiri Forest, and other landscapes?
The Mario Hall of Fame: All Mario all the time.

I may think of more.
