Poor controllers. Controllers are now taking more abuse since the switch to CDs.

God, those old NES controllers were durable. It was their small, flat design. You could slam them on the floors as hard as you wanted, they survived. SNES was almost as good. I wouldn't dare try it with the ultra-large N64 or GC controllers, though.
I heard somebody threw their NES controller at the wall. The controller was totally undamaged, but the controller put a dent in the wall O_o

I stayed up for like 8 hours in the night trying to finish that one board in F-Zero GX where you had to escape from the space station. Fortunatly, I was too tired to get really pissed off, which was a good thing.

Oh god, how on God's green Earth did I forget MKD? That game pissed me off to no end. 150 CC was just pure hell. Alot of practicing later, here I am now, able to own 150 CC no problem. But back when I first got up to it, holy crap. I don't think I have heard that much cursing out of myself up until then.

Cheap. Ass. Comps. 'Tis all.

I didn't find Mirror mode to be too challenging. When I finished it, I was like "It's over already? Damn."

I found 150cc worse than Mirror, actually. Weird.

What I could never understand was how 2nd place, no matter what, was ALWAYS Wario in his hideous purple Kart with some other loser, usually Peach or some middleweight.

I dunno what frustrated me more- that slight mistakes like hitting a banana peel cost you 3 or 4 places, and usually the race, or the fact that comps took much less abuse from hitting items than you would. You'd have to pelt them with practically 5 of them before they could be passed.

Probably the Black Guardian. I know that thing made me say a few curses.

It killed me once, because I wasn't paying attention to my health. You know how you move really slowly when you have a tiny bit of health left?

I enjoyed fighting the Black Guardian. It was easy...What isn't easy is killing that...thing in Edward's chapter. That thing has made me curse every time I try to kill it.

The vampire? Gah, I hated that thing- I felt rushed, so I went in the basement to fight it really unprepared. And that horrible noise it makes when it dies...
I'm glad there's only one in the game.

1. Usually, depends on the game
2. Curse
3. Other (The sound barrier )
4. it's actually a mix of HOW THE HELL DID THAT MISS?! ...cheap computers and This part is just too goddamn frustrating.
5. None at all (perhaps I'm lucky)
6. I persist and don't quit playing until I succeed

Games I got frustrated on...
Fire Emblem: Final Chapter: Light. First off, I yelled "YOU STUPID PIECE OF ****!!!" at the gameboy and shook it because Nergal's damn morphs were ungodly cheap, and then Nergal himself was cheating, and the Dragon was so (Restrains self from typing a long list of obsceneties) annoying and cheap.

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire: Catching Groudon and Kyogre.

Megaman Battle Network: Magicman. I only managed to beat him because I was lucky he summoned the Fans.

Megaman Battle Network 2: Bass. (Not the fake one you fight)

Mario Kart: Rainbow Road-I kept falling off until I found the Trick.

Megaman: Never EVER managing to beat Gutsbastard's stage.

Startropics: Mike's moving controls really aggrivated me.

Magic Man was easy. He never moves, so you can just wail away on him with really strong chips, not having to worry about missing a shot.

Bass upon defeating Planet Man was easy. Bass SP, or whatever the upgrade went by.. now, THAT was a fight.

How odd. I thought the Black Guardian was irritating while the vampire was a joke. Maybe because I took full advantage of the Magick Pool spell (something ssorD confessed to not having a clue what it did) as well as Enchant and Shield. All 7-point. Yeah, I had Edward powered up to the max.

Although The War to End All Wars is an awesome song. Yes, that's what the Black Guardian battle song is actually called.

Okay, I'll admit - it was only my first run in with the Black Guardian (Xel'lotath, to be exact) where I found it difficult. When I fought the Ulyaoth and Chattur'gha Black Guardians, I wasted them.

Magic Man was a joke. Of course, I had Quake3s coming out the wazoo.

I only get really pissed off when either the comps completely screw me over (ie: in a game like Mario Kart, when you get hit like 3 or more times right in a row) or the hit detection in a game is ****ed up (not saying that I never screw up, just simply that I get pissed off when the game doesn't seem to work right). The latter happens pretty often in the first Mario game, I might add. I've not broken anything, although I've thrown my fair share of controllers in discust. Mostly you'll just hear me toss rather vile insults towards the game or system or whatever. Kinda part of the fun.
