New Metroid Bundle rumoured for US

Console, controller and Metroid Prime in one $99 package, inclusion of an Echoes demo possible

15:47 Nintendo is reportedly to release a new GameCube bundle, in fact a Metroid GameCube bundle, in the US in August.
Priced $99, the bundle will include the GameCube console, a controller and a copy of Retro Studios' Metroid Prime.

Fair enough, but what's more interesting is talk of the possible inclusion of a demo of Prime sequel Metroid Prime 2: Echoes in the package.

Currently this isn't confirmed, and it's also mentioned that Nintendo may actually release the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes demo as a separate retail product.

No doubt all will be revealed soon. And, as yet, there's no word on a similar bundle crossing over to the UK and Europe.

I don't think Nintendo will do this. I really don't believe they'd re-release Metroid Prime. I think they'd just sell the Echoes demo separately.

A MP2 demo would be a good pre-order incentive for Pikmin 2, which comes out next month. As well as including some other demos as well.
