*Why the sad smilie? Because it's not as good as the Xbox version?

I am not at all interested in this game. I bought Splinter Cell, because many people said it was one of the best Xbox games ever. I don't know if it's because it's not as good, but I didn't enjoy the GCN version of Splinter Cell at all. I got stuck at 38% (CIA headquarters) of the game, and have hardly tried since. I replayed from the start to that point once again, but I still am stuck, and I still don't like the game.

Bingo. Or the PS2 version for that matter due to the lack of online play.

Wink

Found this on PlanetGamecube.com. He's talking about Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, but it kinda applies to this game, too.

Here's a fun story of when I demoed this game with an Ubisoft rep at E3. I asked if the GC version would have online play. "No, GameCube can't go online." I just let that one go. I ask if there is a LAN feature so at least some people can enjoy the multiplayer mode. "No, GameCube doesn't have a LAN adapter." I say yes, actually, it does and there are already games that use it. "Oh." I ask if the game is being sold at a discounted price since it has half the content of the other versions. "No, it will be priced normally." He sort of laughed at that last question. Is it really so funny?
