You nuts? The 8-way pad is vastly superior, for almost every type of fighting game. Did you ever play the original? You wouldn't get far against expierence players if you only used the analog stick.

Hmm, I guess I never played any experienced fighter. I preferred the D-pad for 2D fighters (e.g. KI Gold on the N64), but for 3D games I think a control stick works better.

I've only played the GCN version, by the way.

^seems someone got out the wrong side of the bed this morning.

But as far as a SC remake going to DS is concerned, I hope it's just that. A remake. If that's all it is and they chuck in some wifi battling (which would be awesome btw), then Ill be happy.

I wanna see the next proper SC on the home consoles.
