The DS is a nice system, but the PSP definitely seems to have more games to choose from right now. For the battery life, I've heard around 5 or 6 hours for most PSP games. Depends on how bright you have the backlight, how loud the sound is, etc. Since I use my portable systems at home mostly, that doesn't bother me. I can recharge any time. |

Yes, the battery life is pretty crummy, but there are only a few situations where that's really a downside. The DS has a pathetic library of games, and really, that's all it needs to sink into the depths of suckage at this stage. |

And as you can see, a few have. So yes, it might seem strange that I posted this in a Nintendo forum, but there are surprisingly other people here. |

The PSP's hardware seems infinitley better though. Once it gets some good games, I'll be sure to pick it up. *Cough*SystemWarsForum*Cough* |

How 'bout some Pokemon Dash? Or Yoshi Touch n Go? You're really appealing to your audience, there. With the addition of the touch-sensitive screen Nintendo seems to be stressing that more effort be put into various ways to make use of it rather than making a game that people actually want to play for more than 5 minutes. If you're going to defend Nintendo don't even try to knock the PSP for having games with the same title on other systems. Also, allow me to correct the misimpression you have, which is that these games are simply ports. |

Then there are another 5 games which still kick the crap out of the rest of the DS line-up. It's great if you want to innovate Nintendo, but innovation is retarded if the games suck. And the sucking is happening. Nintendo's only killer app game is a port. |

Nintendo has become way too gimmicky lately. They keep coming out with these things that rely entirely on "It's different", but totally lack any actual substance. Who care's if it's different if it's not satisfying? The only game I think is a port for the PSP is Ape Escape, but I could be wrong (either Ape Escape isn't a port, or there's other ports). ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The reason I favor DS is for whats to come in the future. I would make a list, but its too much. Pick up a magazine or search a website or something. (Nintendo Power has a good list..) |

Actually, I predict that things will go Sony's way pretty damn quickly if Nintendo doesn't get some quality games out for the DS, not ported crap that uses the touch screen for gimmicky's sake. |

| Senior Member | Okay, as I must admit, most of us are just giving excuses. My excuse: Soon, we'll get good games, you know the rest. And, what is the Nintendo- V pocket? |
