In Michael's chapter, at the part where you put the Ruby Emerald and Sapphire Effigies in their proper spots to get the Enchanted Gladius, what happens if you put them in the wrong spots? I'd rather not find out for myself.

A horror appears in the colour of either the picture you put the wrong object in front of, or of the eggify, I'm not sure.

It took me a while to figure that one out, but I would just restart if a horror appeared.

It'd make more sense to be the portrait, but don't quote me on that. The only time I screwed up was when trying to put the Ruby effigy in the Red slot.

Also, at the very beginning when you have to put the cubes in those slots, if you try to put a cube in the wrong slot, a Mantorok Zombie appears.

Ah, okay. Anyway, Horrors are pie. I hate those things with the wings that summon Zombies sometimes though, not the Guardians. Don't know what they're called.

Yeah, Horrors aren't that bad, but it's a very small room.

I used to hate the winged creatures too, until I discovered you could attack them from the rear even with their wings closed.

Depends who you are. Christ, with Michael Edwards I could damn well take on an army of Horrors. Enchanted assault rifle, baby.

Why does Paul Augustine (Pious) need Dr. Lindsey to find the ruins? I thought he already knew where they were when he found Ellia.

Mantorok's power is shrouding the ruins from being found magickally (which, I assume, is how he found them the first time).

In the area with all the statues, why is Pious' only of his lower body? It was like that my first play through I thought that in the second route his upper torso would be added to the statue, and then in the third his head. But this is my second time through and it's still only his lower body.

Because he chopped up his own statue.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

In the room with the piano, who does that hanging body belong to? Aaron Roivas?

I'm really having a lot of trouble with the Chattur'gha Black Guardian. I can't even attack him, he doesn't give me enough time. By the time I finish my spell he's already hit me and the spell won't even damage him.
Oh, and I don't see him flashing at any time. Isn't that when you're supposed to hit him? This is my 2nd play.

In order to defeat the Great Guardians, you must be visible, and during the second stage, you must kill all the zombies that get summoned.

The easiest way to do any of those battles, is to use the level 7 Defense Field, and the Level 7 Shield. The zombies can't drain your sanity if you have the defense field and shield on, and they kill themselves trying to get through the field. Once they're all dead, the Great Guardian will flash. Hot-flash the dominant god attack spell or the Mantarok attack spell to a button, so you don't have to set it up every time.

For the first and third part, simply avoid getting hit until the Great Guardian flashes, then hit it with the hot-flashed attack spell.

I'll just add that for the third part you should use a three point spell, as he only flashes for a short amount of time, and you have no time to do a 5- or 7-points spell.

He's not flashing at all for me, unless I can't see it. But I don't see any safe time to attack.

He stops smashing - very briefly - after every third or fifth smash, I forget which. Count how many it takes. As SOON as the last one hits the ground, cast a 7-point attack spell that he's weak too. It will end the stage in one hit. Works like a charm
