I played Ducktales for such a brief time and quite a long time ago. I can't remember it too well.

Next week I nominate Super Mario Bros 2.

Never liked Mortal Kombat, but I think that's the most impressive of the list there.

I vote Doki Doki Panic

Played through and beat Duck Tales with the best ending yesterday. Still a great game. Secret for anyone who might play it sometime soon (although that seems unlikely): Opt to leave the level via Launchpad when the ten-thousands digit of your current score is a 7. Launchpad will take you to a short bonus stage where you can get extra cash.

YoshiFreak, if you're unclear about how the system is run, please click on the link I posted on the first page.

SML, you can vote for the game you nominated.

^I'm not unclear, I'm just making damn sure that IF SSBM is nominated, it has at least one vote. Really, B-K's my vote if not SSBM.

NinNut, Koga, you can PM me the list any time now. I kind of need it to make the page that lists them all...

Well, I don't know what all's been GotW. I thought you guys had some kind of list you kept on your computer in a Notepad file or something.

Well, then I'll use the Search results to make the list. When I upload it, tell me if there's anything I'm missing.

EDIT: Here it is. The ratio of first and second party games to third party sickens me. The only third party games on here are Ducktales and Mortal Kombat, which are on here because of the new system. The Mario and Zelda to everything else first and second party ratio also sickens me.

Sorry, I forgot about it.

CK, I think you're overreacting here. Those games were voted by the members to be game of the week, but there have been plenty 3rd party nominations. Mario and Zelda games are just popular games.

And at least we had something to talk about then. Now we get topics about Ducktales where only people like you and AI have played the game.

Feh. Silly Dutchman. Tons of people have played DuckTales, and I enjoyed its week in the spotlight. Maybe you're not going to grab the ROM or anything, but you could. And it's not like anyone talked much about the other games, save for "ZOMG BANJO KAZOOIE WAZ SO COOL".

You can deal with people possibly doing the same over an older and now less-known game, now can't you? That it's now much more possible for CK or myself to see something we care for up there?

It really seems that the only franchises so many are familiar with anymore are Mario or DK or Zelda. This is one of those games I would consider a "must play" for the NES. Back when Nintendo was the name in gaming.

Obviously, she doesn't care much for what amounts to fanboyism in terms of variety. I can't really argue with that, because I made an initial complaint and observation that every single game up had been first party.

I might've tried it if my NES wasn't a piece of trash.

The problem with lack of people to talk about a game would be solved if more people around here would acknowledge that there's more out there than Mario and Zelda. Not only for the simple fact of seeing more third party stuff as GotW, but also more people who are willing to, you know, go play it instead of leaving it at "I've never heard of that game".
