The winner of last week's contest by a single vote. This week it would be preferable if you voted a little bit more than last week.

Now, how did you think last week's contest was? Having seen our new system are you happy with it or are there changes to be made?

Anyway, the game. I had never previously heard of this game so, as I have in the past, I did a bit of research into it. Apparently it was a Disney TV series as well as a more than decent NES game. It wasn't an instant classic like SMB3 but has developed in the years since it's release into a good game.

You have until Thursday to nominate 5 games.

Changes.

1) You should make a list of all past GotWs.
2) If someone nominates a game that has been previously GotW, it shouldn't waste their nomination.

Ducktales was a damn good platformer, in my opinion. No game's ever been too similar, in my opinion. As a kid, I loved all the little secrets and the like you could find. Great stuff.

Knux, I'm going to make a list of all the games that have been GotW when I get home. That way you can see what's already been GotW, and it doesn't clutter the first post.

Good stuff. Played it all the time as a kid, secured my own copy about six months ago, had fun. When I beat it that time, I was inspired to get on my emulator and make this:

What I played of Ducktales 2 was a bit on the lame side, though I confess to not playing a whole lot of it.

There were also Game Boy classic versions of both Ducktales games. The GB Ducktales seemed a little bit harder than the NES one. Don't own the GB Ducktales 2.

Oh, and...

There seem to be five games already nominated, but in the event that SMB2 or Banjo-Kazooie have already been GotW, I renominate Simon's Quest.

Ok, until CK posts her list of past GotWs I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Banjo-Kazooie was GotW a while ago so I'll accept it. SMB2 hasn't yet been GotW to my knowledge.

I'm guessing MK 1 is Mortal Kombat 1? Forgive me if I'm wrong.
