Winner of last week's vote. I've never owned any Mortal Kombat games but have played plenty on my friend's SNES in the past. From what I played, I liked, I do like a good fighting game.

You have until Wednesday to post 5 nominations to go on the list of eligible games.

I never caught onto the game, but it did mostly kill censorship in video games.

This week I'll nominate the NES Bionic Commando.

I played with my hands on one controller and used my feet with the other...My feet always won, and somehow pulled off a fatality every time when I didn't know how to do any of them...

*Grabs random game from a bag*

I nominate *looks at game* Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land...lest it has already been there...then I would nominate *Grabs another game and looks at it* Wario World...

I loved this game when I was younger, but I haven't really had any urge to play it since then.

I nominate Wario's Woods.

Eh, I have a couple memories of MK. I used to think that multi-armed guy was badass. I was always more of a Street Fighter kind of guy growing up though.

I also was a Street Fighter guy growing up, until Killer Instinct came out. I didn't really like the first MK, but 2 was a lot better, and I loved Ultimate MK3 (which I owned). The problem was that I spent more time trying to do everyone's fatalities/babalities etc. than actually fighting.

I always liked MK.

I don't know if there are 5 nominations yet, but just in case, I nominate Rocky Rodent(SNES).

The only MK game I've ever really played much was MK 5, and that was just a rental (we maxed the thing out in 4 days, who really wants to pay 40 or 50 bux for that?)

I never really got the movesets in the original MK games. They don't flow very well.

I agree, which is exactly why I love KI and its combo system so much.

Oh, KI definitely was a superior engine. KI2 could have been better, if they didn't waste their time simply changing the moves for the characters, and getting rid of favorites (who doesn't think Cinder or Riptor are cool, really?)

But MK was an important step in fighters. Heck, it's a loooong way from that atrocity, pit fighter.

And just as a side note, I own MK Trilogy, because it's basically the best of the 2D games. If I ever actually desire to play a Mortal Kombat game, it'll be the one I go for.

BICYCLE KICK, *****ES.

I would've bought Trilogy if the N64 one got all the MK2 characters, all the bosses as playable characters and all the animalities. MK trilogy for 64 was only slightly better than UMK3 for SNES.

I also can't see why they got rid of Riptor or Cinder. I thought they should've just add the other characters, not replace them. Sabrewulf is my favourite, though, so I'm glad he stayed.

</font>[/quote]It was just random levels clipped from the 2 arcade games and thrown together as a new product, anyway.
