A 3D mouse plus controller with extensions galore. Well, most people were half right.

Light gun ability is a major pro. Analog stick being a plug-in is a major con. And what do the triggers look like?

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

^The analog stick attachment is gonna come with the system.

Here's a trailer, with all the angles of the controller.

This Controller can definitely be a bit of a problem. Sure it's motion sensitive, but the main problems are

1.Fighting games-It lacks the ABXY buttons to be used in fighting games like Street Fighter, SSB;Revolution could make excellent use of the smaller a/b buttons

2. The smaller a/b buttons are way too distant from the large A button when held vertically and Could I be able to hold it horizontally rather than vertically as if it were a NES controller, and could I reprogram it when it's NES-style so that Up is Left and Down is Right, and have that function not interfere with the tilt function of the controller?

3. Downloadable N64 games-They require ahelluvalot of buttons to press(BA, C^\/<>, LZR).

4.It looks like a friggen TV/VCR remote with all the qwertkyness of GBA-GCN connectivity

5. The larger B button seems to act more of a Z-Button

-------------------------
Pros-

1. Add-ons to the controller can be bundled in with future games, but it sorta creates a paradox with the Control stick addon: Could they try to create a multitap addon so that you try out multiple add-ons to the controller?

2.The motion sensitivity and tilt funtion of the controller adds alot to it
3.It's very unique and innovative

I'm pretty sure that the GCN controller can also be hooked to it, so that solves all the downloadable games problem (we already know NES and SNES games are easy to play on it, because of all the remakes, and GB and GBA games because of the GB Player).

The only thing I don't like about it is the motion sensor. I don't know if it will be used for all games, but when it is it seems like it's very straining on your right hand. I don't know about you guys, but I like to rest my hands in my lap when I'm holding a controller. I just don't like the idea that you have to hold the controller in a certain area, to not mess up the game.

I belive the whole point of those smaller buttons is so the controller CAN be turned horizontal to play NES games.

Here's an article that gets into more detail then the IGN one does: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3143782

No official word yet, but that's what they're saying, it can be held horizontally.

I wouldn't call that a con, per se.

^ As far as what you said, Koga, I was thinking this too this morning, but I think that very easily might be chalked up to immersing yourself in the gaming experience. However, one interesting feature now is that lefties will be able to perform a change up for the first time ever.

One thing that people don't get is... okay, the same old games and stuff will be a bit different to play. That is a con. But what about the potential for new gaming experiences?

We've went through four generations of witnessing the old NES controller evolve, get new buttons and layouts, into what the 360 and PS3 have showcased. Doesn't that seem like an awful long time to wait for something like this?

Yeah, Koga, I'm not much a fan of tilt-control either; hopefully it'll just apply to certain games, none of which with the word Smash in the title.

I figured that, but I'd be a lot more comfortable if it could firmly attach somehow.

That controller looks a bit dumb, I thought Nintendo said the Revolution could play downloaded SNES and N64 games, How on Earth could it if there aren't enough buttons for a SNES or N64 game, I can't believe this is the controller for the Revolution it just doesn't look right, it looks like something nintendo might make though. Man is it weird.

Well, I have to say, I'm impressed on how Nentendo surprised me.

First, I was worried that the controller would be a stupid touch-screen controller, then, I thought it would be Motion sensitive, but the whole time, it was a remote control, and I'm happy with what they came up with.

The controller is sleek and innovative, mixing old with new, and the "nunchaku" Style add-on looks perfect for FPS, giving the feel of a mouse and keybord, prehapes better. The motion sensitivity could be perfect for games like Super Monkey Ball and Wario Ware. And with the simple look to it, it can help non-gamers pick-up and play the games without feeling intimitaded by a huge button layout that the X-Box 360 or the PS3.

And the use of add-ons so the controller can be turned into a normal-looking controller will help attract 3rd Party developers to create games for the system, therefore attracting mainstream gamers.

This will also help when playing games downloaded into the Rev. (NES, SNES, Ect.)

Reviloutinary, indeed!

Did anyone notice that this controller uses a battery?

I wonder if it's rechargable

I belive the small a and b buttons are the future X and Y. I remember that in that "Revoultion Controller" video that it had the X and Y buttons. Also, we get TWO Z buttons. EDIT: We still have that C stick, though. Maybe the control pad? (Shell or GCN controller)

Interesting controller. I hated it at first, but now that I think about how it works, its cool now. I still say it looks weird.

They're still deciding on AA's or a battery pack.
