Heck, how many Japan-only platformers period are there? Okay, there was Samurai Pizza Cats, but about 1/3 of the game was cutscenes, and I would've loved to know why a robot penguin was invading earth. And then there was.... that's it actually... EDIT: Okay, Over Horizon I've never played, and heard it was a pretty good shmup that I don't think was released outside of Japan (I'm not 100% sure. Europe may have gotten it). Even though it's not a platformer, I guess I'll give you that one too. Even if it's not an RPG or anything else that requires reading, it's often very nice to know what the hell's going on.
