I didn't particularly like FLUDD and the BLOCK LEVELS damn those to hell. You have until Thursday to nominate 5 games to go on the list of games eligible to be next week's GotW. However, please check the GotW archive to see if your nomination has already been GotW. |

I'm about a third through. It's fun for the most part, but some levels are just insanely frustrating. The toxic paint in particular is a major annoyance. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

No nominations from me this week. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

There are so many things, that could've been improved aside from FLUDD. - more levels - more variety between the levels (sure it's a sunny island, but they could've made a cave level, a snowy mountain top, and a proper underwater level) - you didn't have the same freedom with swimming you used to have in 64, and you cannot fly at all in this game - it has haf the proper levels of 64 (not counting bonus levels), but just as much shines/stars, so they come up with all kinds of artificial ways of getting to that number. Hidden stars, red coin missions in the no-FLUDD platform areas, a lot of small hidden levels on the main island, and above all... - ...way too many blue coins, and no way of keeping track which ones you have already. - and finally, Yoshi in this game was just terrible. I want the nearly invincible tank from SMW, not a fruit-eating, juice-squirting, weirdly jumping whiny animal, that dissolves in water(!) |

Then again I never liked jumping and moving around in Super Mario 64. With FLUDD, jumping worked a lot more smooth. It had a certain elegance in the way it played that Super Mario 64 could only imitate. My only gripes were blue coins and yoshis. Why oh why can yoshis not swim? |

| Senior Member | Argh, SMS. Just pathetic. First, it's really dang easy at times, but then it's hard at some times (No FLUDD stages anyone?). The final boss should go down in history as stupid and easy, you don't even TOUCH the boss, you destroy the "Outside area". |
