I got this idea tonight, and I strongly feel it would be a MUCH better alternative. Upon the beginning of the new year, several upstart wrestling promotions will begin business. These promotions will do battle for overall supremacy over the wrestling industry. These promotions, of course, will be owned by you, the visitors of the Wrestling Forum. Sign and release authentic as well as fictional wrestlers. (Keep in mind that since each promotion is upstart, it will be impossible to sign today's biggest stars immediately.) Choose to either wage war with other promotions or form alliances, sharing your superstars. After you have an adequate roster, begin scheduling your shows, attempting to lure fans away from other promotions and to your own. Nothing is set in stone yet. I'm simply trying to see who would be interested in trying this out. If you have limited to no wrestling knowledge or just don't want to be a promoter, I would like to have a few people play the role of "columnists" who would just periodically write some short, strictly opinionated passages relating to the game. Anyone interested? |
