How long before the ECW title goes to an actual ECW wrestler?

I know this is "a new breed" and that new stars have to be developed, but do we really need all these WWE guys coming in and stealing the thunder? The time will come for people like Lashley, but I think the top stars of the old ECW need to be pushed as such until we reach that day.

THAT part is true...... then again, the ECW wrestlers, other than Sandman, Sabu and RVD pretty much suck anyway....
