This is a total shame the way this is playing out. I want to give the guy the beenfit of the doubt here (as with any other human being), but the preponderance of evidence is not in his favor. Listening to the testimonials last night made today's news more difficult to cope with and understand. I reckon there's a larger lesson to be learned here, specifically in regard to steroid use and how it affects our temperment. But then again, can steroids really make a man murder his family in cold blood? This is just such a sad incident which will be made eternally so due to the little facts that outsiders will never be privy too.

Anabolic steroids were reportedly found at the house, and he placed a bible next to his son and wife's bodies before hanging himself.

Why exactly, did he place bibles next to the corpses? This whole thing is like a nightmare.

Unless evidence is found that he didn't do it, then I say he did it. And if he's ever voted into the Hall of Fame, I wish death upon WWE.

Well, on ECW they refused to even mention his name. So, giving Benoit a spot in the Hall of Fame is probably the last thing they would do.

Wikipedia posting is eerie twist in Benoit case - Pro wrestler's death - MSNBC.com

Someone updated the info in his page to say his wife had died. It was done before the bodies were found.

If I had to guess (considering the IP was registered in Stamford CT), he probably informed someone in the company that his wife "died" and he needed time off (ie: miss the PPV). Companies routinely edit wikipedia entries and moniter them in order to catch people vandalizing them or writing unflattering things to them. They probably had some WWE tech scrub write it up and insert it without a second thought.
