VGFCW Roleplaying Topic

This topic is for roleplaying for your wrestler. You MUST be a member of the league (see the registration topic) to roleplay. Roleplaying usually consists of a segment that your wrestler is in such as an interview. The purpose of roleplaying is to develop feuds between wrestlers and help develop your character. Good roleplaying usually results in matches that are higher up the card, making you a top contender for the championship. I'm going to post a sample either tonight or tomorrow. A few simple rules to roleplaying:

1. Roleplay AT LEAST once a week to keep things going. If for some reason you cannot roleplay, PM me and let me know so you can be excused. Failure to roleplay for a week without an excuse may result in you being lowered on the card.

2. You may use other wrestlers in roleplays and are encouraged to do so to develop feuds. However, be respectful and don't ruin anyone's character.

3. Please don't make roleplays contradict each other. If a wrestler's roleplay ends with them leaving the ring, don't begin your roleplay with them still in the ring. Also, keep the commentators true to their characters. Tri and SD are very babyface-oriented, and Tri usually does most of the talking. Shane is like a one-man DK fan club (Hey, it's my fed! XD). Lurch supports the other heels.

[Fans are gathered at a press conference waiting for the announcement of the beginning of a new era in VGF - a wrestling federation. Shane walks out to a chorus of boos.]

Shane: It is my pleasure to announce that VGF Championship Wrestling has begun!

[Crowd cheers.]

Shane: I would now like to introduce the commentators for the federation: Lurch, Saria Dragon, Tritoch, and myself.

[Mixed reaction from the crowd.]

Shane: Now I would like to announce that our referee for the matches will be Jay Resop!

[Jay stands up and the crowd goes crazy. "We want Jay" chants fill the room.]

Shane: Now for my final announcement. On Sunday, February 20th, our first huge event will take place!

[More cheers from the crowd.]

Shane: At this event, everyone on the active roster will compete in an over-the-top-rope battle royal for the VGF Heavyweight Championship!

[Crowd is going wild after this announcement.]

Shane: I will now give the mic to one member of that active roster. Possibly the favorite to win this battle royal, DK!

[Crowd boos like crazy. DK walks out and stands in front of the podium.]

DK: Shut up, all of you! I will win the title, and there is nothing any of you can do about it!

["DK sucks" chants begin. DK sees Nomytaker in the audience.]

DK: Nomytaker, do you have a problem with that? Do you?

[Crowd is chanting for Nomytaker. Nomytaker does not look afraid of DK at all.]

DK: Well that's too bad, because when the time comes, I won't hesitate to throw your ass over the top rope on my way to capturing that belt!

[DK, done saying his piece, walks off. The crowd is going CRAZY for Nomytaker. The press conference has seemingly been a success, as the crowd definitely looks ready for the big event in just over 2 weeks.]

*Nomytaker walks through the crowd, giving high-fives to almost everyone,on his way to the ring. Hopping over the safty rail someone passes him a Mic.*

Nomytaker: DK....

*Nomytaker rolls into the ring, stands up and straightens out his clothes*

Nomytaker: I'm sorry to be the first to tell you this, but I'm out of town on that date. Infact, willn't be back till 24th.

*Crowd shocked by this announcement.*

Nomytaker: If, If.... you win the Belt, don't think you'll be having it for long. Because I'll be coming back and stripping you of it, and whipping you, on the ***, all around this arena with it.

*Crowd Cheering for Nomytaker, as he drops the Mic. And rolls out the ring, and walks backstage.*

*it wasn't there before he went into the ring*

*Then he heard something*

"Yeah on Feb. 20 we'll"

*then the door opened*

*It looked like two mexican wrestlers.One looked if he had a mask on*

*they quickly noticed Kahnux*

They said"What have you been up to?"

*Kahnux punches both of them and runs to the ring.They follow him*

*DK,and Nomyt saw them run by*

*They reached the ring.The people watched as they entered *

*Kahnux entered the ring first*

Essdee:"aren't those WWE wrestlers?"
Tritoch:"Yeah it looks like Eddie Guerero and Rey Mysterio"

*Eddie pretends to have an injury.Rey makes it to the ring*

*Kahnux does a left hook*
*Rey does a right hook*
*Kahnux irish whips Rey into the turnbuckle*
*Kahnux runs and does a running closeline*
*Eddie moves closer and closer*
*Kahnux keeps on countering Rey*
*Edie makes it into the ring*
*People "BOOOOOOO"
*Edie Beats down on Kahnux*
*DK&Nomyt come out unnoticed*
*They Punch Eddie in the back*
*Rey kicks them in the shin*
*Rey drop kicks DK*
*Nomyt charges toward Rey he dodges it and Nomyt's head is resting on the second rope*
*Rey does a 619 to Nomyt*
*Kahnux get's up.Eddie gets up*
*Knux kicks Eddie in the stomach*
*Kahnux does a backwards suplex*
Tritoch"Owww that had to hurt"
*Kahnux throws Rey into the turnbuckle*
*Kahnux does a Money Kick(Knux jumps on the top rope next to the turnbuckle and does a drop kick*
*Kahnux helps DK and Nomyt up*
*DK pins Eddie and Nomyt pins Rey*
*Kahnux counts one,two,Three!*
*The crowd cheers*
*They leave the ring*

Just so you know, you really need to run storylines like that through me via PM (to prevent spoilers) and get approval before you post them. There needs to be some order to this, and everyone creating their own storylines all at once doesn't help. You're supposed to develop feuds and such by yourselves, but doing something like this that affects the entire league isn't something I want to deal with a lot. I'm not mad, but please try and run your ideas for huge storylines by me before posting them.

The big event is on the 20th. Everyone is going to be in a battle royal for the title. The match between Nomytaker and myself didn't count. It was just an exhibition match to help give everyone a better idea of how the fed works. There won't be any matches until then, so wait it out.

Tritoch: What does he want?

DK: Nomytaker, I don't blame you for taking a holiday when you should be in the ring getting knocked around by yours truly.

Saria Dragon: I think Nomytaker could hold his own against DK. What is he talking about?

Shane: I don't think so. Nomytaker is a lot of talk. He wouldn't last a minute in the battle royal!

DK: So with Nomytaker out of the picture, my attention goes to you, Kahnux.

Tritoch: He's talking about that new high-flying specialist!

Lurch: Talent? Get real, Tri! Maybe someday, but if he gets in there with DK his career will be over before it begins!

Saria Dragon: Like it or not, Kahnux is a real blue chipper, and I predict big things for him in the future!

Shane: But this isn't the future. It's the present. And DK is the man to beat in VGFCW. I don't see it happening.

DK: Kahnux, I've brought you some things that you're definitely gonna get some use out of.

[DK reaches into the bag and pulls out some papers.]

Tritoch: What are those?

Shane: Haha! Those are travel brochures! Do you get it, Tri?

DK: Kahnux, I think it would be in your best interest to take a vacation as well!

Shane: This guy is great! Why won't you guys jump on the bandwagon?

Saria Dragon: He has to prove himself just like everyone else in the federation!

Lurch: How is anyone going to throw him over the top rope? He's HUGE! Face it, everyone! DK will be crowned Heavyweight Champion on February 20th!

DK: You think about my offer. I'll leave these in the ring for you.

[DK drops the mic and leaves.]

Shane: It feels great being in the presence of the next champ!

Tritoch: We'll see in two weeks.

[Fade out.]

*pulls some out of his pocket*

Shane:"Oh my God they're hospital brochures!"

Kahnux:"Now you know Vegas is my hometown,right ese?And you also know that on Febuary 20 we'll be in Vegas?Well I've been thinking and I think this will be the best hospital for you when you get sent to the hospital after that over the rope match!"

Tritoch:"Ouch!"

Kahnux:"Do you want a match right now?I'll give you one ese"(real question.I'll continue when you answer.E-Fed of course)

DK: Do you really think I'm going to wrestle you here in front of all these losers?

[Crowd boos.]

DK: Yeah right, bud. But if you want to face me one-on-one then how about you listen to my offer?

Tritoch: I can feel the tension!

Shane: Shut up and listen to the next champ!

Tritoch: Right..whatever.

DK: This battle royal isn't big enough for the two of us, Kahnux, so I propose we open the big event on the 20th with a little match!

Tritoch: Both wrestlers competing one-on-one AND in the battle royal? I can't believe it!

DK: But I want to make sure you don't even make it to the battle royal!

Shane: Chances are he won't!

DK: So how about we add a little stipulation that the loser of the match is out of the battle royal?

Tritoch: Is DK scared of Kahnux? Does he think Kahnux is going to eliminate him?

Shane: No way, Tri! Kahnux just isn't worthy enough to wrestle DK twice!

DK: But knowing you, you're going to try and get into the battle royal even after I kick your ass all around this ring. So I want to make sure that the loser is not ABLE to make it to the battle royal!

Saria Dragon: How is he going to do that?

Lurch: If you would shut up maybe you would find out!

DK: On February 20th, I want to face you in a BOILER ROOM BRAWL!

Tritoch: OH MY GOD!

Lurch: A boiler room brawl! That's one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling!

DK: It's simple, Kahnux. One of us will walk out of the boiler room and into the battle royal, while the other..won't.

Tritoch: Personally, I hope his plan backfires and he doesn't even make it to the battle royal!

Shane: Are you kidding? This is DK we're talking about!

DK: So what do you say, Kahnux?

[Kahnux is standing in the aisle, apparently thinking about the decision. He opens his mouth and begins to answer.]

DK: No. Actually, just tell me later. You need to think longer than that. Now get the hell off my rampway.

Tritoch: HIS rampway?

Shane: I'm willing to share!

[Kahnux leaves. DK follows him backstage.]

Saria Dragon: Well there you have it, everyone! The challenge has been laid down for the big event!

Tritoch: I can't wait to hear Kahnux's decision!

[Camera cuts to backstage.]

Lurch: What the hell?

[DK executes a pumphandle suplex on Kahnux. Kahnux executes a pumphandle suplex on DK. (ding, ding, ding) DK uses a belly-to-belly suplex. Kahnux is down. DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. Now DK standing. DK brings Kahnux to the parking lot! DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. DK is up again. DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. DK moves back to his feet. DK choke slams Kahnux. Kahnux looks to be out cold!]

Shane: Haha! I knew he was the best!

Tritoch: He just attacked Kahnux from behind! What a coward!

Shane: The fact is Kahnux couldn't stop DK!

Saria Dragon: Did you see those falling splashes? DK outweighs Kahnux by almost 300 pounds! Those have got to be devastating!

Lurch: Well, I guess now Kahnux knows he shouldn't accept the challenge if he wants a title shot!

Shane: Title shot? If Kahnux accepts, he may lose his ability to walk!

[Fade to black.]

[Note: I simulated that backstage brawl. It's the closest thing we'll have to a match until the 20th. Also, I stated in my previous roleplay that DK left the ring. Please don't make your roleplays contradict previous ones. I think I found a rule to add. XD]

Those are travel brochures! Do you get it, Tri? DK: Kahnux, I think it would be in your best interest to take a vacation as well! Shane: This guy is great! Why won't you guys jump on the bandwagon? Saria Dragon: He has to prove himself just like everyone else in the federation! Lurch: How is anyone going to throw him over the top rope? He's HUGE! Face it, everyone! DK will be crowned Heavyweight Champion on February 20th! DK: You think about my offer. I'll leave these in the ring for you. [DK drops the mic and leaves.] Shane: It feels great being in the presence of the next champ! Tritoch: We'll see in two weeks. [Fade out.]

Kahnux:"Now you know Vegas is my hometown,right ese?And you also know that on Febuary 20 we'll be in Vegas?Well I've been thinking and I think this will be the best hospital for you when you get sent to the hospital after that over the rope match!" Tritoch:"Ouch!" Kahnux:"Do you want a match right now?I'll give you one ese"(real question.I'll continue when you answer.E-Fed of course)

Tritoch: Right..whatever. DK: This battle royal isn't big enough for the two of us, Kahnux, so I propose we open the big event on the 20th with a little match! Tritoch: Both wrestlers competing one-on-one AND in the battle royal? I can't believe it! DK: But I want to make sure you don't even make it to the battle royal! Shane: Chances are he won't! DK: So how about we add a little stipulation that the loser of the match is out of the battle royal? Tritoch: Is DK scared of Kahnux? Does he think Kahnux is going to eliminate him? Shane: No way, Tri! Kahnux just isn't worthy enough to wrestle DK twice! DK: But knowing you, you're going to try and get into the battle royal even after I kick your ass all around this ring. So I want to make sure that the loser is not ABLE to make it to the battle royal! Saria Dragon: How is he going to do that? Lurch: If you would shut up maybe you would find out! DK: On February 20th, I want to face you in a BOILER ROOM BRAWL! Tritoch: OH MY GOD! Lurch: A boiler room brawl! That's one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling! DK: It's simple, Kahnux. One of us will walk out of the boiler room and into the battle royal, while the other..won't. Tritoch: Personally, I hope his plan backfires and he doesn't even make it to the battle royal! Shane: Are you kidding? This is DK we're talking about! DK: So what do you say, Kahnux? [Kahnux is standing in the aisle, apparently thinking about the decision. He opens his mouth and begins to answer.] DK: No. Actually, just tell me later. You need to think longer than that. Now get the hell off my rampway. Tritoch: HIS rampway? Shane: I'm willing to share! [Kahnux leaves. DK follows him backstage.] Saria Dragon: Well there you have it, everyone! The challenge has been laid down for the big event! Tritoch: I can't wait to hear Kahnux's decision! [Camera cuts to backstage.] Lurch: What the hell? [DK executes a pumphandle suplex on Kahnux. Kahnux executes a pumphandle suplex on DK. (ding, ding, ding) DK uses a belly-to-belly suplex. Kahnux is down. DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. Now DK standing. DK brings Kahnux to the parking lot! DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. DK is up again. DK with a falling splash on Kahnux. DK moves back to his feet. DK choke slams Kahnux. Kahnux looks to be out cold!] Shane: Haha! I knew he was the best! Tritoch: He just attacked Kahnux from behind! What a coward! Shane: The fact is Kahnux couldn't stop DK! Saria Dragon: Did you see those falling splashes? DK outweighs Kahnux by almost 300 pounds! Those have got to be devastating! Lurch: Well, I guess now Kahnux knows he shouldn't accept the challenge if he wants a title shot! Shane: Title shot? If Kahnux accepts, he may lose his ability to walk! [Fade to black.] [Note: I simulated that backstage brawl. It's the closest thing we'll have to a match until the 20th. Also, I stated in my previous roleplay that DK left the ring.
