WRESTLEMANIA 22 Predictions Topic! Yay!

With Wrestlemania being...like..the next PPV and everything, I suppose now would be a good time for predictions.

My Predictions:
*********************
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Rey Mysterio def. Randy Orton and Kurt Angle
via Pinfall by 619, followed by Frog Splash
<I Want: Randy Orton to win>
----
Sadly, I think Rey is gonna win. I want Orton or Angle to win (More-so Orton), but my gut instict leads me toward Rey winning. I dont, under any circumstance, think that Rey deserves the title, or think he'd be a good champion.
***********************
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

Triple H def. John Cena
via Pinfall by Pedigree
<I Want: Triple H to win>
----
This one is quite obvious. Triple H wants the title back, so he's gonna get it. What, with his wife being the chairman's daughter. I hate Cena, and I hope he loses...But the RAW main event shouldnt have been Triple H vs Cena, it should've been Triple H VS Edge.
*************************
HARDCORE MATCH

Mick Foley def. Edge
via Submission by Mandible Claw
<I Want: Edge to win>
----
I want Edge to win, but I have a feeling Mick will win. WWE has been putting Legends over current Superstars very often lately (Foley defeating Carlito at Taboo Tuesday, and Jerry Lawler defeating Gregory Helms at Revoloution).
***************************
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP

Chris Benoit def. John Bradshaw Layfield
via Submission by Crippler Crossface
<I Want: Chris Benoit to win>
----
I dont like JBL, but I think he, and Benoit, should be World title competitors. I think the US title match should've been Rey Mysterio VS Booker T, and the World title match shouldve been just Randy Orton VS Kurt Angle.
****************************
MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH

Rob Van Dam def. 2 RAW Superstars, and 3 Smackdown! Superstars
<I Want: Rob Van Dam to win>
-----
It's a toss-up between Flair and RVD, but methinks RVD will win.
****************************
CASKET MATCH

Undertaker def. Mark Henry
<I Want: Undertaker to win>
-----
Yeah, like the WWE is really gonna allow Mark "The Human Donkey Kong" Henry end Undertaker's streak. Henry's goin' in the casket, and the door will shut on his career.
*****************************
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

Mickie James def. Trish Stratus
via pinfall by Mick Kick, or Stratusfaction
<I Want: Mickie James to win>
------
It's really time for Trish to drop the belt..
******************************
MR. MCMAHON VS SHAWN MICHAELS

Shawn Michaels def. Mr. McMahon
via pinfall by Sweet Chin Music
<I Want: Shawn Michaels to win>
-------
The only way Vince will win is if Shane/other person intereferes. And theres hardly ever interference at WrestleMania.
********************************
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Big Show and Kane def. Carlito and Chris Masters
via pinfall by Double Chokeslam
<I Want: Chris Masters and Carlito to win>
-------
Show and Kane are killing the RAW Tag Division. The only time they defend is in squash matches against a jobber tag team. Except on RAW vs Carlito and Masters. And knowing WWE, when a division is dying, they CONTINUE TO KILL IT. Just look at the women's division. Sure Mickie/Trish is a great storyline, but the other divas who can wrestle do nothing but pointless backstage crap. The Divas wrestling are Trish, Mickie, and the girls who were hired to be eye candy. Let Victoria go back into the women's division, and put Candice backstage where she belongs! And release Ashley. She sucks.
***************************************
BOOGEYMAN VS BOOKER T

Boogeyman def. Booker T
via pinfall by Pumphandle Slam
-------
This match is just a really lame excuse to get both men on the card. It'll be the opening match probably, and it will be a 2 minute squash. Expect Booker to lose.

World Heavyweight: Rey d. Orton, Angle
Latino viewers constitute a huge portion of WWE fans. Furthermore, Angle is more comfortable as a heel, as is Orton. Seeing as how heels rarely ever win/defend titles at WM (the only person to do so being HHH), I like Rey to nail Orton with a 619 and get the pin, hopefully closing out the whole Rey-Randy-Eddie thing. Chavo will probably make an appearance as well, though I'm not sure in exactly what capacity.

WWE Title: Cena d. HHH
Everything is wrong about this match. Neither man deserves the title, neither is particularly exciting, and yet this is supposed to carry the entire evening. It's a huge problem, especially considering how Cena is continually pushed as a face while fans refuse to buy into him. The Money in the Bank winner needs to win the title off Cena real soon after this match, but that won't happen because there'll be a rematch at Vengeance at the very least. Look forward to Cena being brutalized, getting Pedigreed, beating the count, and delivering his usual shoulder block F-U schlock for the win.

US Championship: Benoit d. JBL
JBL was HEavyweight champ this time last year. No way he takes on a lesser title, this is just the beginning of a loooong feud.

Hardcore Match: Edge d. Foley
It would be the ultimate disrespect for Edge to give up his title after three weeks, put Cena over, and then job to Mick Foley at WM. Edge's beaten him before, Edge is the one currently on the roster, Edge needs the push more than Foley, it's pretty much a no brainer. BTW, I'm expecting this to be the most entertaining match of the night, which speaks volumes about the crappy booking here.

Michaels d. McMahon
We've seen this plenty of times with Stone Cold and Vince. There is zero chance Michaels loses this. Not much else to say there.

Money in the Bank: Carlito
He introduced it, and although he's on the outside looking in right now, I find it hard to believe he won't get back in the match. The WWE looks ready to give Carlito some push this summer, and I think this would be a good way to do it. Could also set up a long rivalry with RVD, which the company would love to stretch out.

Trish d. Mickey
I don't really care, although this is the best storyline on either brand right now. These two are some of the only women who can actually wrestle, so it should be mildly entertaining.

Taker d. Henry
Taker is unbeaten at WM. I find it very hard to believe that he would end this streak against the vaunted Mark Henry, who's best accomplishment thusfar as been to break into a Steel Cage. Wooha.

World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio
I like Kurt Angle, but the powers that be don't have much faith in him because of his past neck problems. Rey is a non-enitity, and is only here because they're milking Eddie's death to the Latino community. Orton wins, and feuds with Angle for some interesting television.

WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Triple H
We're all sad about Edge losing the title, and that his reign only existed so the WWE could get rid of the "Money in the Bank" storyline they seemingly forgot about for 10 months. Trips is actually a decent wrestler, and in my humble opinion, deserving of the title. I want to see him with the belt and actually get some decent competition, but of course, that won't happen. Besides, how else will he become the 17-time World Champ before he retires?

United States Championship: Benoit vs. JBL
Not enough build-up for a title change. I hope this can continue, and maybe Benoit can actually have a decent match with this guy.

Hardcore Match: Edge vs. Mick Foley
Edge is dropping down the card faster than Mick Foley fell off the cell. I fully expect Edge to lose this one. Hopefully, they'll turn that into a storyline, and he'll get some goood TV time.

Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon
This one's a tossup. I expect a big name to interfere on Vince's behalf. If I were to predict how this match turns out: Michaels is wining when Marty Jannetty (probably) or Bret Hart (hopefully) interfere, and set up a storyline for RAW.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Rob Van Dam For now.
He's been gone a long time, and WWE really needs to make up for lost time. Best case scenario, he wins and pulls and Edge right before Wrestlemania 23. I may change this after seeing who Smackdown! sends to the match. If it's the Boogeyman, then I change my prediction, but it's most likely Booker T, Lashley, and Matt Hardy/Fit Finlay/Ken Kennedy/Orlando Jordan, In which case I'll still go with RVD.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James
Shocking. A well developed storyline with decent wrestlers. I remember at the Great American Bash, the main event was Batista vs. JBL, and it was a thousand times less interesting than this. The women's division is turning into a decent part of the WWE. Imagine that.

Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
Anybody disagree? Anybody? Beuller?

World Tag Team Championship: Kane & Big Show vs. Chris Masters & Carlito
Filler match. Kane and Big show walk.
