The vast majority of the matches have pre-determined results and are said to be "worked". The results are determined by "bookers" to maximize "heel heat" for the bad guy and "(baby)face heat" for the good guy, often in the context of a long-running "feud" or storyline. Typically, the wrestlers will work out some signature "spots" marking key moments in the match in advance. During the match, the move sequences and transitions are improvised with the participants "calling spots" to each other to inform them of their next up-coming move. The referee is also often involved in executing the match to schedule and dealing with unforeseen circumstances.

I know that the matches are pre-determined.In the Sabu topic I was referring to what could happen when wrestling is not on the air.I mean they can still fight without a script.

Actually, I posted this because I was tired of people like you talking about wrestling as if it were real. As mod, I would actually like to see intelligent discussion in the forum rather than naive discussion that implies that wrestling is real. I'm just trying to increase awareness.

If you have so much disdain for me, why are you still in my forum?

NO! He means that its SCRIPTED. The storylines arent real, but the matches (for the most part) are. The only things that are scripted in matches are spots, the finish, and the winner(s).

The posts he says he will delete are ones like the "Chavo is a disgrace to the Guerrero name" posts.

No it's not. Wrestling is scripted. Talking about wrestling as if it's 100% real is naive and makes you look like a complete jackass.

I sure as hell didn't say wrestling is fake. It's a dangerous business. Some wrestlers encounter serious injuries while others simply get really banged up. Wrestlers give their bodies to the industry in order to make a name for themselves. Stop trying to put words in my mouth. I said wrestling was predetermined, not fake.

Well in my view your the one being being a jackass cause you can't reolize that we don't care if it is scripted we know the whole show is planned out but we dont care cause it entertains us and if you can't reolize that then obiusly wrestling does't entertain you.

I love how real wrestling is especially when ape like baboons like bartman and his brother frolic about in a circle with Santa Clause and the Easter bunny every time they hear that sweet RAW is WAR music start to play
