Rey Mysterio was a crappy champ anyway. He's not getting the title back. Batista will win it from Booker at Summerslam (or possibly No Mercy).

In the mean time, stop being such a baby. Did you really think he'd be champion forever? He had to lose it sometime. Frankly, I'm glad he lost it to Booker. Batista/Rey would be an AWFUL Summerslam main event.

Im my view batista vs rey would be the best rey had to beat 2 superstars that were twice his size at wrestlemania and he won.

Neither Angle nor Orton were twice Rey's size. Not heightwise, and I'm fairly sure not weightwise (Well, not Angle at least. Orton, possibly. I'm far too lazy to look up weights.).

Batista/Rey would suck simply because they are both face. The only face/face main events that sold were Austin/Rock and Hogan/Warrior.

So, the definition of "best champ" involves jobbing for 3 (possibly more) weeks in a row (before Judgement Day) and opening the show with a match against Gregory friggin' Helms?

Rey was one of the best champs in wwe for 3 reasons.
1.He lasted longer than anyone in the royal rumble.
2hes defended the title against the bigger wrestlers.
3 He beat not one but two people to win the title.

Now for a serious post.

In my opinion, Rey's the best high-flier in wrestling today. He certainly deserved a World title run. It's behind him now, though. Time for a feud with Chavo.

Many other people did this. It's not special. For example, Big Show defeated The Rock and Triple H to win the WWE (WWF back then) Championship at Survivor Series '99.

Especially considering he's a face. Typically, heels (aside from those with "unstoppable" gimmicks) have more losses during their title runs. It builds anticipation or something (this makes the heels appear to be a bit weaker, making bartman-esque fans excited about the possibility of a title change sooner rather than later.)
