WWE Unforgiven 2006

Well, we're almost exactly one week away from WWE's September and Raw exclusive extravaganza, Unforgiven. Set to take place Sunday September 17th 2006 from Toronto Ontario Canada, this years event looks like it will be a pretty good show (or a huge disappointment).

Here is a rundown of the matches (As of 9-8-06):

TLC Match for the WWE Championship (If John Cena loses, he signs with Smackdown)
Edge (c) -vs- John Cena

First-Ever Handicap Hell-in-a-Cell Match
D-Generation-X -vs- Vince and Shane McMahon and the ECW Champion The Big Show

Randy Orton -vs- Carlito Caribbean Cool

Kane -vs- Umaga

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Johnny Nitro w/ Melina (c) -vs- Jeff Hardy

WWE Womens Championship (Also, Trish Stratus's last match)
Lita (c) -vs- Trish Stratus

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Spirit Squad (c) -vs- The Highlanders

What is everyones thoughts on this years event and how about match predictions?

- John Cena becoming the new WWE champion
- Jeff Hardy becoming the new Intercontinental Champion
- The Highlanders becoming the new tag team champions
- Trish Stratus becoming the new women's champion, then having the title become vacated since it's her last match
- Umaga
- Randy Orton
- DX

My predictions are exactly the same as yours. Except possibly the Intercontinental title match. That's the only one I'm unsure of.

Even though I know he'll win, I hope to GOD that John Cena loses. I hate him with every inch of my heart.

Im not to sure..... normally in predetermination, the last person who beats the crap outta the other guy normally loses at the pay-per view.

^ Yep. It always happens that way. For example, Orton RKO'd Mysterio on the Smackdown before WM22, and then he was the one to be pinned.

Also, HHH and McMahon bloodied HBK and Cena on the RAW before WM22. HHH and McMahon both ended up losing.

Some interesting points...

- Whoever gets beaten and bloodied before the pay per view normally ends up losing, that's very true. So perhaps we'll see Edge dominate Cena tomorrow night on Raw and see a new champion, or the other way around, and see a new Smackdown superstar.

- Kane COULD be in for a push and end the whole Umaga thing, considering he already got his throat crushed in by the Samoan spike.

Any predictions in the Hell in a Cell match? Keeping in mind the rumor that Scott Hall wants to make a return to either WWE or TNA, and do the whole nWo -vs- DX storyline leading to Survivor Series?

If umaga hits the samoan spike it might be the end of the match.

If cena loses we have a new smackdown superstar.

I doubt the spirit squad will losed cause the other 3 always get involved.

Dx is gunna some how beat The Mcmahon ands king kong.

Needless to say, it's going to be an interesting event. The 2 main events are going to be insane... I hope the Hell in a Cell match is exciting and a lot of good bumps are taken, and I hope the TLC match is a showstopper.

And I just want to know, since I missed Smackdown last friday-Did Cena sighn to Smackdown? Cause my friend says he did, but I don't believe him.
