Edge jumps to Smackdown, wins title

Have Edge defeat injured Money in the Bank holder on Raw.
Edge cashes in breifcase the next night to defeat the injured World Title Holder.

I know it's a quick fix, but it could have been done better (and without having to spoiler Friday's Smackdown -- the news was posted on the front page of WWE.com)

Good thing: This won't lead to another crappy Cena-Edge angle, or Cena at all for that matter.
Good thing #2: Batista has a big ass chance of getting the title back.
Bad thing: Kennedy gets screwed, and doesnt get a title shot.
Bad thing #2: Edge=Bad champion.

Any other opinions?

Apparently this whole turn of event came about because BOTH Ken Kennedy and the Undertaker are going to miss 5-6 months due to injury.

I'm sure Kennedy will still get his promised Wrestlemania title shot (just in a different way -- i.e. winning Royal Rumble)

i agree with both, other than, I'd rather see Taker as champ than Batista, Personally, much like Cena on raw, I'm sick and tired of Batista holding the damn belt!

Actually, there's been an update. Kennedy's coming back in about a month or two.

So hey, Kennedy/Edge WHC Feud. I'm FOR that, just as long as Kennedy doesn't become TOO face. :P

This was a great move. SmackDown needs star power (Raw has plenty), and Edge is the most over heel in the company right now. As long as he isn't in ECW, I'm cool.

New ECW = S***
Old ECW = THE S***

Actually, I've suddenly changed my mind. I totally agree with Bartman. Edge is a horrible champion. Edge is a blatantly and ridiculously terrible champion because he is a heel. Heels should never hold titles. In fact, there should never be heels in wrestling, period. Every single wrestler should just be a face.

Actually, according to prowrestling.com anyway, Taker will be out at LEAST six months. Kennedy is gonna feud with Edge probably when he returns, and actually, that'd be fun to watch!

And btw, Edge isn't a horrible champion because he's a heel, he's a horrible champion because HE FUGGING SUCKS!!!!! I don't care if he's a heel OR a face, I CAN'T STAND HIM!!!!!!!
