Floyd Mayweather Crap

That's basically what it is. Crap.

I've heard rumors that the whole $20 million thing isn't true and he's only making closer to $1 million. That better be the truth.

This goes in my top 10 worst storylines ever. Seriously. Mayweather = garbage.

Discuss.

Just another stroke of "Genius" from Vince mcmahon. I hope eventually he learns that all wrestling fans HATE BOXING!!!!

Wow, I agree the storyline is crap, but I wouldn't as far as to say that Mayweather is crap. 39-0 is really impressive, even if you hate boxing. And to the whole "All wrestling fans hate boxing" thing, Not true.

That's my fault for not clarifying. I apologize.

Mayweather = AMAZING boxer. One of the best today.

Mayweather = HORRIBLE fit for WWE. He's terrible on the mic, and his promos are completely pointless. I remember an episode of Raw which was, I think, two weeks ago. Seemingly everytime the camera cut to his "live broadcast from satellite," he literally just sat there for an extended period of time and said nothing.

WWE is certainly not boxing. I enjoy boxing. The only thing is, they're two totally different things. What works well in one does NOT translate well into the other.

I suppose phony staged fights versus actual competitive sports is a start.

I'd kind of like to see how it would go if Mayweather and whoever he was in the ring with were actually trying to subdue each other. That would have potential, though it'd be hard to write for.

Wrestler vs. Boxer has been done too often. The only good one I remember is that time Bret Hart got Thomas Hearns to jump over the railing and get in the ring, then restrained before they fought. Of course, the Big Show isn't Bret Hart, so it won't work out as well.

Stop bumping ****, dude. Seriously.

Although this forum does need some activity. I dunno. Make some new topics. And I guess this topic is sort of relevant again. Just quit bumping the irrelevant ones, or make a new one if you really need to talk about a topic last covered over a year ago.

Also, on Mayweather, he's a great boxer, but I wish he would kindly shut up about MMA if he's going to appear in Wrestling over and over. It's kind of... I dunno, like, isn't MMA a little more respected in the fighting community than Wrestling? I like all three, but still.
