Why did you have to sell Rare to microsoft nintendo? WHY?!? I don't have a 360, but I might get one just for this game. That's what I did for Super Smash bros melee.

That sucks another Banjo game would be perfect for the Wii.
I thought Rare was long gone after the Nintendo 64 era ended.

They've released two games on the Xbox 360 so far. (Perfect Dark 0 and Kameo.)

Microsoft bought the division from Nintendo about 5 years back, so Nintendo's not going to be seeing a Banjo game on the Wii

Old news. Good news, of course, but old news. Just now, I'm more interested in figuring out whether I actually heard about the next 'Elder Scrolls' game being in development, or merely envisioned it in some sort of fever dream.

It's completley different.

The newly announced game IS NOT A B-K REMAKE. It is the fabled Banjo-Threeie that was hinted at during the ending sequence of Banjo-Tooie. This is not in any way, shape, or form a remake such as Live and Reloaded.

Yeah, but read the first part. That's the aruguement for the sequel. You were looking at the remake claim. I was saying that I hope that they don't do a remake, but not a piece of crap like PDZ and Kameo.

Grunty's Revenge was more of a prequel and a sequal at the same time. Don't ask me how.

'Grunty's Revenge' takes place after BK, and, according to Scribes, it's sort of a 'what-if' scenario that takes the storyline down a different path from the one that led to BT. Sort of like how people who care about that sort of thing believe that the Zelda games take place along two branches of the same timeline--one branch in which the events of OoT took place and Hyrule got flooded, and the other branch in which the events of OoT were prevented and Hyrule didn't get flooded (or something to that effect).

'Kameo' is great, YF. Get back in your cage.

A new Banjo-Kazooie game isn't a reason to buy a 360. Seriously, if one single game has you contemplating buying a 360, it should be something like 'Gears of War' or 'Oblivion', or 'Halo 3'.

1. Shhhh.....I got mad because I hated the fact that it was trying to be an action game, rather than a platformer. Grah.
2. I bought a 360 for Halo 3, Oblivion(w00t), and Dead Rising. The games like COD2 and Quake 4 were just pluses to the stack. Those and Guitar Hero 2, but I had my 360 before I knew about a sequel. And I have a crappy computer, so Quake 4 was a "console exclusive" for me. No flaming for being graphic-poor.

This is some of the saddest news ever. I remember beating DK64 with my cousins in Dominican Republic...and both Banjo's....those were the days...
