Why waste money on Xbox?! You could at least buy PS2. They have the same exact line up except for some games. The controller's like a carved out stone copy of dreamcast's controller! how could u even hold it!?

Halos amazing. Thats the reason I was considerioing buying it. But i just borrowed my freinds box for a week or so and played the hell out of it. I figure i probaly will buy one in a couple years

i dont know. i wouldnt but it. no good games. ive heard halo is good, but i dont like shooting games. they tend to get kind of boring to me. i think id stick to my nintendo. thats what id do, but i dont know about you.

I agree those are great games, but wait a second....why are import games dumb? I imported Shenmue II for Dreamcast and it was one of the best things I've done.

Actually, I plan to get an Xbox. I myself thought that, at first, Xbox was a waste of money too. Then I went to the store and gave it a test run. I played Jet Set Radio Future. It was a lot of fun too! I have heard stuff about Halo being the best FPS out there. I'd like to try that too. And with Xbox's lower price(two-hundred), I can actually afford it and two games. Besides, I already have a PS2 and a 'cube, so why not the 'box?

I take it you have those tiny kid hands? The Xbox controller is a little large, but my hands can handle it.

The only people I've known to hate the Xbox are Sony fanboys and Nintendo fanboys(and girls). I don't care what the system is, as long as the games are good.

I can't give you a rating for sports games cause I don't like em much. I will tstify to every one of those games being good or to be good. Hell, far more are to come. What has Ninty got? Celda? Pikmin? WAVERACE? c'mon. I know why I would get a game cube, and it's not SSBM.

Spiderman is ace. And ign said Xbox's spiderman was the best- with 2x exclusive leles.
I might actually buy spiderman, after playing it in a shop. I thought It would be chilidish, but it is really good.(apart from the fact you can attach web to the sky?)
whenever we have a ps2 port, we have more levels,-and better grafix.

Yeah Spiderman is pretty good, I have it on Gamecube. The only thing I didn't like was the repetitive voices and short game(trust me 2 more levels won't make it long enough). I'd say rent it and beat it.

BTW, My bro younger brother has X-box, so between him and me with my PC, Gamecube, Dreamcast and SNES emulator, I've got all the bases covered.

You guys are in for a treat with Morrowind, I have it on PC and I love it.

Halo is not all it's hyped up to be. The game isn't bad but it is not good enough to buy a Xbox. I'm actually stuck between getting a GCN or a PS2. I'll probly go with the PS2 b/c of Max Payne and GTA3. SSBM just cannot beat out those games.

Plus the PS2 has FFX and plenty of other cool games.

Dude, Halo rules. You want an overrated game, try SSB:M. It's an incredible game, but most people treat it like its the best game ever or something. Its not even close. I should've waited on buying a Gamecube. I'm not selling it because I'll being playing it it the fall, but I wanna play now.

I've got a Gamecube, Dreamcast, N64, SNES, Genesis, and NES, so I've got all the classics covered. Fact: I play my Genesis more than I do my Gamecube.

I don't think Halo is the best game on Xbox because it wore down on me already. I'm getting more enjoyment out of Morrowind and Hunter: The Reckoning.

Well, I say the controller is too big. It's like a frikkin' 5 inch diameter circle with the bottom cut out. Why is it like that? And then there's the buttons... *ugh*

Yeah, I admit it has great games. But you can probably find many of them on other systems (if not now, then later) and Halo... well, there are billions of games like it. I'm sure you can live without it.
