Right now we do not have any concrete plans on how it will be done. In regards to patches, which change the game code itself, that is not something you can do with a console game. We can only produce them for the PC version of Morrowind. If you are getting a "dirty disc" error message, please try the suggestions below. 1. Make sure the Morrowind disk is clean. Dirt, dust, fingerprint smudges, on the surface of the disc can cause this message to appear. To clean the disk: - Hold the disc by the edges without touching the surface with your fingers. - Clean the disc with a soft cloth, wiping from the center towards the outside edge. Do not use any solvents or chemicals to clean the disc. - Try to play the game again. 2. If you still receive the message after cleaning the disk, try the steps below. - Save to a new game file. - Delete all your other Morrowind saves except the new one. - Turn on the Xbox console with no disc in the disk tray. - Select MEMORY, and then select Xbox Hard Disk. - Select the specific individual saved game name in the collection of saved games. - Select COPY to move that saved game to an Xbox Memory Unit. - Delete the last save on the Xbox. - Transfer the save from the memory card back to the Xbox . - Play and load the game. 3. Below are a few items that can help to prevent further problems: - Avoid moving items. - Dispose of dead bodies, but don't drop anything they carried. You must either put this stuff into a container or sell it. - Put clutter into containers instead of on the ground. - Delete unused spells and sell or use unneeded items in your inventory. - If you experience problems, rest for 3 days without moving. We have also discovered that turning the AutoSave option off in the Options menu and then every one to two hours, saving your current game and then loading the save game may also clear up this error. If you are currently experiencing the dirty disc message sooner than 2 hours, you should save and reload your game earlier. Saving frequently will not solve the problem by itself. You must load the game after you save it. | |
