| Guest | How XBoxers (or XBox fanboys) are going so hyper and psycho about this Rare thing. Just look at the name of this forum for one. Just goes to show they didn't have anything else to celebrate about before now, huh? Now they're celebrating about having one of Nintendo's key developers, which they've insulted so much in the past. ![]() |

I would also probably mention how the Nintendo fanboys are reacting is as equally pathetic and hilarious to watch. They are now completely denouncing and ridiculing the same company that just a few months ago was being hailed by them as one of the greatest video game companies of all time. My opinion on the whole matter basically equals up to that of Mercury Crusader's, who recently posted in the System Wars forum a similar message to this one, which can be found here(I'd post a link to the thread, but I'm too lazy to go and find it again). -The Flying Fish --------------- The Flying Fish swim swim hungry swim swim hungry Dwell on the Past | DopefishZone |

| Guest | It's funny... That you, a Nintendo fanboy, can find the time to let everyone know that you are deeply disturbed by the fact that Nintendo's best developer has left Nintendo to join your archenemy, the company that is trying to take over the world, Microsoft. |

And of course MS is trying to take over the world. Bill Gates is, in reality, Hitler's son, and is trying to follow in his father's footsteps. The only way to stop his conquest of the technological world is for Ted Turner to colorize and transform the meddling kid into a solid gold statue. ![]() -The Flying Fish --------------- The Flying Fish swim swim hungry swim swim hungry Dwell on the Past | DopefishZone [ October 02, 2002, 02:13 PM: Message edited by: The Flying Fish - SPAGVGFTSPTBC ] |

| Guest | This isn't about Microsoft's fifth acquisition. This is about: who's next and after that and after that? Microsoft has money, and they're not afraid to use it. (I am curious as to when Rare was insulted by Xbox fanboys, though.) |

How you immediately classified me as a Nintendo fanboy just because I'm against Microsoft. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. You make yourself look like a fanboy by just saying things like that. I only posted this as a response to this forum's name. It proves my point ten fold. Nintendo's best developer? I'm not crying. Sure, their games were good, but I'm not going to go and cry. I think it was stupid of Nintendo, but there you have it.

Actually, I think they WERE the best 2nd/1st party developer. The only superb exclusives. Sega is a 3rd party that develops exclusives on different consoles. Tell me, who made the best shooter on the ng4 and sony's only competition at the time? Tell me, when Nintendo was in desperate needs of games in the early days of the n64, who created their best games? Tell me, when nintendo was surrounded by Sony coming into the market and the sega saturn's launch, what game, developed by who, kept em alive?

And the only reason you dislike the "ultimate sin" Celda is because of the graphics. Shows you XBoxers think alike. Quote:

YOU THINK they are the best 1st/2nd party developer. We're different, as I've already proved. Rare. Nintendo. A mix of the above said. That doesn't prove a point. Come back with some real evidence. Their only mistake so far is turning Metroid into a first-person shooter... but from what I've seen they've worked wonders with it. | Guest | Paper Mario makes Intelligent Systems better than Rare? SSB makes Hal better than Rare? Am I missing something here? Maybe I should start counting Mario Paint, Fire Emblem, Kirby, and Pokemon Stadium, and it might make more sense. I thought the Retro comment made perfect sense. |
