I'm planning to get Halo for PC, and I want to play online with friends who have Halo for X-Box. Would I be able to play my PC Halo with people who are playing on thier X-Box version?

You might, but I'm not sure. I haven't tried that before...

It shouldn't be a problem because it's over the 'net, right? It's a different interface, but when it gets down to it it's playing over the same thing, right?

No they don't connect to eachother, they are seperate games belive it or not. They are still working on perfecting cross-platfform technology.

You can't connect a computer to a system. You need the system connected instead. Sorry, Chris. That's how it goes.

One thing though, If they provide the base work from the begining the games can be cross platform. I think 4x4 EVO on Dreamcast connected to the PC game.???

4x4 EVO on DC was compatible with the PC version, but Xbox games are a different story since Xbox Live is a closed platform. I doubt any Xbox Live games will ever work across multiple platforms.

Not for a long time, at least.
