How do I get by the mine field in splinter cell?

I am currently at Mouke Tsoe Bo Meats. How do I get by the minefield without blowing up?

You have to use your thermal vision goggles.

I know that but it is extremely hard. I have to keep switching on and off (due to the spotlights) and I can't find a good path.

Ok, snipe off the guards first. After you kill them, you're going to want to go around the outside edge. It's the long way, but its easier to get through the search lights.
