WORST EVER: Grabbed by the Ghoulies. How can people love that game anyway!? Its made by Rare! I was pissed when I saw the commercial. Scary if you see Banjo and Kazooie only on X-Box.
Are you insulting Rare? You idiot. They created the DKC series, which was quite awesome. As well as Banjo Kazooie. I guess you are too spoiled by your new, high tech games to respect any of the older games.</font>[/quote]Has it ever occured to you that maybe some people don't like Donkey Kong country and/or Banjo-Kazooie? I don't hate any of those games (didn't really care for the first DKC, but didn't exactly hate it either. Haven't played Banjo-Kazooie), but some people might. To be honest, I hated Goldeneye, but that's mainly because I despise First Person Shooters.

Guess what; not everybody has the same opinion on stuff as you do. Heck, I only know one other person who also thinks Super Mario Brothers 3 is the most overrated game of all time, and he doesn't even come to VGF. I'm not going around calling everybody who likes it a "Super Mario Brothers fanboy".

And my interests obviously aren't affected by being "spoiled by... new, high tech games to respect any of the older games" because my favorite games are on systems like the NES and the Genesis.

Do you really think "You don't like it just because it's an old game" would be a logical thing to say to somebody who just said "I don't like it". Have you any substantial proof that not liking a game just because it's an old game is the case in a given situation? Or are you just reducing yourself to flaming because you can't accept the fact somebody has a different opinion than you?

Hey, maybe you will come upon somebody who is a "That game sucks just because it's old" type of person. But jumping to conclusions when somebody just says "I don't like a game" is just as stupid as the "It sucks because it's old" fallacy. Plus, you're making old-school gamers look bad.

(Please note I did read the post about it being a mistake. But the comment about "You don't like Donkey Kong Country just because it's old" comment really got under my skin and I'm responding as if the case was it wasn't a mistake.)

Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

J.C Penny, CK's right. Grabbed by the Ghoulies doesn't suck because it's Rare. It sucks because...Um...I think I feel a special review coming on over in the reviews...
