Also do the soft pads work well for this game, or is it better to invest into one of the steel pads. Thanks for your help. |

| Guest | Ultramix is a very decent mix, as far as DDR mixes go, and there are a good variety of songs. If you get the bundle, which is the games and the official soft pad, that's a good deal. The pad in the bundle is very high quality for a soft pad. The Mad Catz ones aren't nearly as good. Your best bets for multiple quality pads other than buying a hard pad is buying two bundles, keeping one game and both pads, and selling/giving away the other game. |

| Guest | I'm also considering to get the DDR Ultramix + pad, but I also got a question: Is it possible to play the game with your own music, saved on your HD? Dance on your own DDR game? I know that in some games you can play your music, just wondering if this was also the case with the first dance XBOX game. Gamer Girls Unite |

| Guest | No, this game doesn't have that feature, mostly to protect copyrights and a while bunch of other legal reasons, but you can download packs of songs on Xbox Live. $5 for 5 songs, and most of them are pretty good. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. And as for "Dance on your own DDR game", I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. |

I hope the answer is yes, because a soft pad would be a heck of a savings. thanx |

| Guest | Hehe, no problem. Just call me PM, by the way. And I've been playing on soft pads (on a carpet floor) for years, and the responsiveness of the Konami pads (which come in the bundle) is excellent. Mad Catz used to make good pads, but recently, they've been rather shoddy. I don't think there are any other good soft pads makers for the XBox though. So if you want two good pads, just buy two bundles and sell/give away one of the games. |
