Has anyone purchased GTA4. Is it living up to all the hype, or should I wait till it is being resold as used and save a few bucks?

It's been great so far. Did you like VC and SA? It's very much like them.

I think they need to make a mod for this game: take out all the characters in it, throw in a bunch of zombies, and put in Will Smith.

How far is everyone in this game? Anyone beaten it yet? I bought it the first day but I had finals the last two weeks (such perfect timing), so I'm only just over 20% complete.

*SPOILERS AHEAD* I just beat the mission for that one ghetto lady (Elizabeta or something like that) where you go on the roof overseeing a drug deal, and you have to snipe out all the guys once the deal turns sour. *END SPOILER*

I don't recall my percentage offhand--less than a quarter done. I've currently got mission markers for Packie, Playboy X, Dwayne, Roy, and Francis.

Storytelling is phenomenal. I mean, I guess it's always good, but they really outdid themselves this time.
