I haven't got Left 4 Dead 2 yet but the demo is awesome. It just feels like an interactive horror movie. My favorite understatement is Valve makes good games. VALVE FTW! |

Was playing it last night with some friends; it's just a good contribution to the whole 'zombie genre' and it's executed really well. |

| Ah yes killing millions of zombies in an attempt to survive to the next day, and it's so much fun even when you fail. One of the few reasons I would get a Xbox360. | |

| Oh, just noticed this was referring to number II... I haven't tried number II. Number I was really repetitive. Your enemy that you fight 90% of the time only has one behaviour (run in a straight line towards you). You only have two gun types. (Yes, you get upgrades, but they're still a shotgun and an automatic. The hunting rifle doesn't count because it's not a gun, it's a deathtrap for the wielder.) Every so often, you get attacked by a special, which if you're playing properly you melee-bash to death immediately. In Versus, the Infected have huge respawn timers and only one real action each (suicide attack). In addition to this, the nature of the campaigns mean that you can still have half an hour to play and have a team that mathematically cannot catch up with their score. The 'AI Director' was a great marketing ploy, but it turned out to be little more than a random number generator that determined whether you got weapons on one table or on another table later on. The main problem is that there is little variation in interaction. Since there's only two guns and one type of enemy that fills almost all playtime, there is a hard design cap to the amount of gameplay variety and fun you can have. | |

| Member | Both games have unlimited replay value when playing with friends, anything can happen and it can be hilarious. I think I like L4D2 better, but I do believe the first had more atmosphere and better level design. |

Stay tuned as we break Chunky's PC with a 360 to prove which is better. |

It's the only game on 360 my brother has that I legitimately enjoy past the "I dislike this game less than than the rest of your collection, so I guess we can play it" level. My favorite to play as is Louis. Dunno why, but I guess it's because of his optimistic personality and being the most normal of the group. I usually beat things down instead of shooting them since Louis' fists have unlimited ammo. I was sold on L4D2 when I heard that a frying pan and electric guitar were weapons in it. |
