Halo 2 Clans? - VGF

It's almost here, and you're probably getting it. Anyone planning on creating a Halo 2 clan for Xbox Live play? I probably won't have time to run one myself, but I certainly want to join one if any of you are. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Despite the fact that I don't have an Xbox, me and a few friends might be making a clan... I don't really know. We all go down to a friend's house to play, anyway.

I got a decent deal on a trade-in when I pawned off a bunch of games, so I'll have Halo 2 somewhat soon. Not exactly sure when though, since it depends on supply.

I'm picking mine up tonight at midnight, and while I intend to finish the single player campaign before delving into the surely life-ruining Live play, I would be interested to know if anyone around he starts up a clan.

Well, my copy was shipped earlier today, so if all goes well I'll be playing through the single-player in less than 24 hours. Tomorow's gonna be the longest school day...

I played it... I'm kind of disappointed, to tell you the truth. It's not nearly as it was hyped up to be.

This game kicks ass. I was thinking the same thing as Parrakarry, but then I once I got a bit into it, I was absorbed. I'd be on it right now, but it's starting to give me a massive headache. Yeah Tritoch, I'll join. I'm not gonna go on live until I beat the game though, don't want anyone spoiling it for me.

Well, after spending 2 or 3 hours at my friend's house playing co-op (my other friend got angry for some reason and took his Xbox back, so no more sys link

), I've revised my opinion. It's a kick-ass game. But I still think it's not as good as everyone said it would be. Plus I don't understand anything... probably because we skipped through a few key cutscenes by mistake. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

People who were comparing this to a game like Ocarina of Time were definitly wrong, but it is easily the best Xbox game. If you want to understand you'll have to have played through Halo, and yeah cut-scene skipping isn't a good thing. How many levels have you beaten?

As for Live, am I the only one having troubles? The game doesn't seem to want to find me a game. I've only gotten into two so far.

Overrated? Yeah, probably. Worse than Halo 2? Not a chance.

As for Halo 2 though... Swords kick ass! Just got a ten-man killing spree to win.
