Halo 2 Glory - VGF

I just thought some people might want to share some stories of games. Things just kinda happen to me sometimes, that are so awesome I remember them forever. I think I'll list a few now.

In the bottom of the Headlong building, I'm in a ghost. Two guys come in the front door, the first manages to start jacking my ride. I slam the boosters, splattering his buddy and putting him on a collision course with the two fuel cells in the corner by the entrance. I'm kicked off just in time to escape the carnage, as ghost and ghost stealer explode in a blaze of glory. Well, for me at least. For them it was just a blaze.

Story 2. Coagulation, multi flag. I'm overshielded, huffing it for the enemy base. Meanwhile, one of our boys manages to get the flag out the front door before they kill him. I manage to take out the guys immeadiately guarding it, snatch the flag and make a break for it straight across the map, even as more blues pour out of the base behind me. I'm not gonna make it, right? Then their banshee tries to run me down. Only, I've still got just enough overshield that I survive it, and am instead catapaulted straight at our base, away from my pursuers, faster than a speeding bullet. Score, thank you banshee.

Finally, Ivory Tower. Guy named Sandman was patrolling a hallway with the sword, keeping anyone from getting close to a particularly nasty sniper. Then I caught him. He had just killed one of my teammates, and was now sitting in the corner, I could just see the tip of the sword peeking out. Letting his shield recharge? Or had he seen me approaching, and was lying in ambush? It mattered not. Playing the bank shot, I lobbed three grenades fast at the doorframe across from me, aiming high so they'd be less noticable. They bounced back into his corner, sword guy goes boom. I never even saw him die, just saw the sword come flying out the door. I then proceeded to take out the sniper and have some long range fun of my own. Though the brunt of my wrath was directed at Sandman for the rest of the game, got him four more times. He never did get his revenge upon me for killing him and being so stylish and awesome about it.

There are other great moments I could recount. A 24 kill spree in the Wraith, triple kill with the Beam Rifle, Double kill with just two plasma grenades in a row...too many to mention. You gotta love it.
