How do you feel about the turning-into-a-wolf idea?

I've been thinking, and I can't seem to accept the idea of not being 'Link' the entire time... But innovation always works out great for good ol' Nintendo...

How do you feel about it?

Seriously? It strikes me as a hopelessly-retarded gimmick that will mar the title wherever it's implemented. To be fair, though, I remember saying pretty much the same thing about the 'sailing around' idea back before 'WW' came out, and sailing ended up being one of my favourite parts of the game. I don't hold out much hope, but I certainly wouldn't mind being wrong.

'Black' is awesome, by the way. If any of you have a PS2 or XBox, I highly recommend giving it a try. (Sorry, I know this is off-topic, but it needed to be said.)

Looks pretty cool to me. It worked in MM, so I'm not worried. As long as they don't overdo it.

i Love the idea, for a few reasons one being that it's a throw back to the LttP game eliment where if you entered the dark world without the moon pearl you became a rabbit. Another that it seems like it could bring some intresting new eliments into the game play and the story itself. and lastly because it makes me think Werwolf and werwolves are my favret mythicel animels.

The issue is that this transformation most likely will be enforced, as I believe that this is an occurance that happens at night? In MM you had choice and control in when and how you transformed. Also, there was a variety.
People just may not like the wolf idea.
But, you can't please everyone. I personally hadn't thought about it until now. Unless the controls are really botched, I don't think I'll care.

I would almost prefer if it "only happened at night." First off, I think Link should be first and foremost a normal swordfighter, not an anime-ish character that fights with spectacular powers and transformations. Second, it would give the game a darker feel than it would otherwise, as it would be something that Link had to live with rather than something he "could do." The only problem, of course, is that we wouldn't be able to play as regular Link at night.

Really, I can't see this seriously impacting my enjoyment of this game either way.

Untill you got the moon pearl in LttP you transformed whenever you went into the dark world. From the way I understand this link only transforms while he's in the Twilight relem, so you still get to play as good old link for a good deal of the time.
