Twilight Princess will be on BOTH Gamecube and Wii

This was just announced at the E3 Press Conference.

Now I have a difficult choice to make.

IF, and it's a big "IF", the only differrence will be the controller and maybe a small graphics upgrade I'll be more than happy to stick with the GCN version.
If it turns out that the Wii has other extras, I'll be annoied, but I'll have to see...

Nintendo's pre-E3 show was today. You could watch live feeds of it on several sites.

I don't care about the Wii controller, so I would most likely get the GameCube version.

You have all chosen poorly. In this case, the metaphorical 'footsteps of the Lord' lead to my local Blockbuster, whereat I'll give TP a rental, rather than just 'making the leap from the Lion's head' by buying it outright. Rest assured, if it turns out to be a good game, I'll be a penitent man indeed.

I'm buying Wii. I'm planning on getting Wii Opening Day, and I won't get Zelda any earlier by getting the GCN version. if it turns out to suck, against all odds, I'll rent GCN version and see if that's any better.

One thing thats awesome about the Wii version is that it uses the motion sencers to the fullest.

Okay I went to two days worth of E3 both Wednesday and Thursday and I have to say that I will get both games, seeing as how the Wii will launch with the Zelda game and the game cube game will come out the same day. It only makes sense to get both the new system and the games......Plus I can play with the Wii and my son can destroy whats left of my old wavebird......
